Honest Prayer, the second one. .

Three years ago, I had the great honor to interview Holocaust survivor, Ralph Jacobson. It was the first time I had ever heard of Kristallnacht. In this horrific night of violence and terror, Jewish residents were killed, arrested by the tens of thousands and their homes, businesses and 1400 synagogues were vandalized and burned. It is vital to remember the events of history with their proper weight attached. UPDATED DESCRIPTION AFTER PUBLICATION: I now also see that Jeanine Pirro on Fox News and other commentators have compared the shut down of Parler to Kristallnacht. God help us all. I am so sorry to all the Ralph Jacobsons and their loved ones. Please, everyone, stop diminishing the horrific events of our past. Oh, in this episode, we talk about that... and mention that Lot was a sorry sot in the Bible as far as i can tell.

Honest Prayer, the first one

It's way past due. I've been promising and re-promising that I'll get more consistent with my spirituality, that I'll put my focus on faith. I have failed in that promise more times than I can count. Today felt like a personal wake up call... as my husband said, God puts together decades of meaning for you in a single morning... you should probably listen. This is just the beginning. My hope is that on this journey, it becomes a community of people who grow, learn and converse. I'd love for you to join me.
