    We were so thrilled to chat with the hilarious Joseph Haag, a long time friend and grad of Comedy Playground, who sat to chat about what's going on in his daily life, and his love of cars, comedy, crystals, and his amazing family! We also talk about being a twin to his amazing brother Jacob, and insights and knowledge around autism within "Autism Awareness Month" and as Joseph calls it "everyday in the Haag household". Originally from New Jersey, he started his career in NYC where he attended the Tisch School of the Arts. With over six years of stand up and five years of music comedy Morgan has managed to create a unique performance that touches comedy and music fans alike with his melodic tunes derived from his love for classic RnB and Bossanova. Most recently he finished as a semifinalist on NBC's Bring the funny but has performed at numerous comedy festivals including the SF Sketchfest, Laughing Skull Comedy Fest and was a finalist at the 2019 Big Sky Comedy Fest and 2018 Boston Comedy Festival. Morgan has taken home first prize at the 2012 Westside Comedy Showdown, 2018 Ventura Comedy Festival and 2019 Antelope Valley Comedy Festival. Morgan also won 1st Prize for best comedy/novelty song in the International Songwriting Competition which received over 16,000 submissions.

    Special Guest Dana Powell Episode 6: "Turn it UP!"

    We had the BEST time with the glorious, hilarious actress, comedian, writer, Dana Powell! You know her from Modern Family, Reno 911, Bridesmaids, Battlecreek, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Good Place, the list goes on as her talent is infinite! In Episode 6 Dana talks with us about growing up in Missouri, and coming to the big land of LA, and provides us with tons of inspiration and tips along the way! She shares about her journey with improvisation, sketch, and character acting as well as self discoveries with some wonderful insights on how to follow, achieve, and turn yourselves UP!  Enjoy this fantastic episode, and get ready to laugh, feel motivated, supported, encouraged, inspired, and remember it's two of those three magical words, and amongst them all - always remember to turn yourselves UP!     Inspiration Time!

    This week's episode we begin our two part segment on "Inspiration" welcoming the amazing Vince Caldera as our special guest! We talk all things that inspire us from comedians, chocolate, DIY, along with some drip and tips along the way! Vince is a hilarious young comic who as a teen, we had the pleasure of having a part  Comedy Playground, and The Eamon Cannon Comedy Project (ECCP).   As a young adult Vince has performed with top comedians such as Maria Bamford, Marc Maron, Jackie Kashian, and more! He has performed throughout the nation in comedy festivals as well as San Francisco's Sketchfest in 2020,  and has put up shows throughout LA in many amazing spots! Vince is a truly inspiring young comedian and a creative champion who shares some of his insights and thoughts around his love of comedy, his own inspiration, working with youth, creativity, and more.  A young, inspiring and infinitely talented leader, we all can learn from and laugh with!
