    City Tales 3 ~ THE BREAKAWAY

    City Tale 3 follows four young women from Washington, D.C., as they each navigate heartbreak, pressure, and ambition on the road to self-discovery. Morgan, a gifted hair stylist, leaves D.C. after getting caught boosting and reconnects with Tay in Atlanta to pursue her dream of opening a creative gallery space. Jia, weighed down by grief and responsibility, chooses healing over burnout and joins her friends down South. Harmony escapes her controlling mother to study opera in Italy, reclaiming her voice, while Rya, a loyal caregiver and tattoo artist, finally takes a leap of faith for herself. In the final scene, they reunite at Tay’s Atlanta launch event—proof that sometimes, moving forward means finding your way back to the ones who’ve always seen you. This is the final story in a 3-part trilogy.     City Tales 2 ~THE COME UP

    Tay was a sharp, street-smart booster from D.C. who moved quietly through the world, surviving instability at home and helping her friend Morgan pull off a risky heist—until Morgan got caught and Tay knew it was time to go. Chasing her dream of owning a creative gallery space, Tay relocated to Atlanta, where a job at a nightclub and a chance encounter with a businessman offered a new opportunity—until her past caught up with her. Undeterred, she pitched a bold idea to transform a neglected storage room into a pop-up art space. When her vision came to life, Tay invited the other City Tales characters to Atlanta, turning her second chance into a celebration of growth, grit, and possibility.     At just 18, CJ is ready to leave the streets of DC behind, carrying $7,000 and a plan to start fresh in Brooklyn and study journalism. But when his estranged father unexpectedly returns and steals the money, CJ’s escape spirals into danger—captured by Fat Slime’s crew and facing deadly consequences. In a twist, his father rescues him during a violent shootout, revealing he’d gone into hiding to protect CJ and used the money to take down Slime. With a second chance in hand and $10,000 to his name, CJ boards a Greyhound at sunrise, vowing never to look back. This is the first story in a 3-part trilogy.     Tales From CHEC Audionovelas- "Cosas Irreales"

    "Cosas Irreales" sigue una protagonista que, al regresar a casa, comienza a flotar inesperadamente y se encuentra con una bruja, ranas gigantes y un misterioso desierto, dejándola con la duda de si todo fue un sueño o algo más real. "Unreal Things" follows a protagonist who unexpectedly begins to float on her way home, encountering a witch, giant frogs, and a mysterious desert, leaving her questioning whether it was all a dream or something more real. **Relatos de CHEC Audionovelas** es un proyecto de audio gráfico audaz y creativo que introduce a los estudiantes al mundo de la locución a través de la narración de historias. Desde superar obstáculos hasta celebrar logros, o contar historias puramente ficticias para entretener, los estudiantes escribirán e interpretarán sus propios relatos bajo la guía de la Directora del Programa, la Sra. Leslie Olabisi. A través de talleres prácticos, los participantes aprenderán los elementos esenciales de la narración, la respiración adecuada y la interpretación vocal, culminando en la producción de una historia de audio grabada profesionalmente. Este programa ofrece una vía fundamental para canalizar las emociones y la energía de los jóvenes, al mismo tiempo que los motiva a fijarse nuevas metas y explorar la importancia de convertirse en creadores en lugar de solo consumidores. Al introducirlos a una carrera menos conocida como la industria de la locución, buscamos inspirar nuevos hábitos y áreas de interés en un entorno educativo y divertido. Distribuido digitalmente y promovido por **LOVStudios**, este proyecto será compartido con medios comunitarios apropiados para exhibir la creatividad y destreza técnica de los estudiantes. Además, fomentará un sentido de orgullo en sus logros, al mismo tiempo que alcanzará e inspirará a una audiencia de sus propios compañeros. Tales From CHEC Audionovelas is a bold and creative graphic audio project that introduced students to voiceover through storytelling. From overcoming obstacles to celebrating accomplishments, or purely fictional stories that entertain, students will write and perform their own tales under the guidance of Program Director, Ms. Leslie Olabisi. Through hands-on workshops, participants will learn the elements of storytelling, proper breathing and voiceover performance, culminating in a professionally recorded audio story. This program offers a vital outlet for the emotions and energy of young people, while encouraging them to set new goals and explore the importance of becoming creators rather than consumers. By introducing them to a lesser known career path such as the voiceover industry, we aim to inspire new habits and areas of interest in a fun, educational environment. Distributed digitally and promoted by LOVStudios, this project will be shared with appropriate community outlets in order to showcase students’ creativity and technical skill . It will foster a sense of pride in their achievements, while reaching and inspiring an audience of their peers.

    In "Night Shift," a fast food worker's worst fear comes to life when a deranged, teleporting clown attacks his night shift, killing his friend before a brutal showdown leaves them both bleeding in the street--waiting for help that may come too late. Tales From CHEC Audionovelas is a bold and creative graphic audio project that introduced students to voiceover through storytelling. From overcoming obstacles to celebrating accomplishments, or purely fictional stories that entertain, students will write and perform their own tales under the guidance of Program Director, Ms. Leslie Olabisi.
