Sustainable Strands with Samriddhi Tiwari hosted by Jiya Nagpal

The Innovation World Young Collaborators Podcast Series welcomes Samriddhi Tiwari.  Discover how a simple, everyday material inspired a groundbreaking idea in sustainability. Explore how Samriddhi Tiwari turned discarded human hair into an effective natural fertilizer. “I remember visiting salons and noticing these huge piles of discarded hair on the floor. It honestly shocked me, I had never realized how much waste a single salon produces in just one day.” “I had just cut my own hair and it had always been very close to my heart, so the thought of it just being swept away felt wrong. I really wanted to use it in a meaningful, unusual way instead of letting it go to waste. That moment stayed with me, and it inspired the entire idea behind my research.” Samriddhi’s Linkedin More about the host: Jiya Nagpal is a 14-year-old high school freshman from Gurgaon, India who is passionate about creativity, technology, and innovation.
