    2026 Football: Pratt vs Lyons

The Pratt Greenbacks put together a comprehensive masterclass on Friday night, utterly destroying the Lyons Lions 63-0 to close out the regular season. The victory brings Pratt to an even 4-4 overall record and gives them serious momentum heading into the playoffs. The Greenbacks overwhelmed the Lions on both sides of the ball, racking up 400 yards of total offense on 37 plays while completely stifling Lyons to just 73 total yards. The defining performance of the night belonged to Cade Liggett, who was remarkably efficient on the ground. Liggett turned 12 carries into 143 rushing yards and a staggering five touchdowns. The Pratt passing attack was equally efficient, led by Max Thimesch who completed 7 of 8 passes for 88 yards and a touchdown. The Pratt defense matched the offense's intensity, pitching a shutout and forcing two interceptions caught by Hudson Titus and Vince Van Der Vyver. First Quarter: Pratt opened the scoring midway through the first quarter when Cade Liggett capped off a 9-play, 63-yard drive with a 2-yard touchdown plunge. Second Quarter: The second quarter was an absolute onslaught, with Pratt exploding for 42 points. Liggett scored four times in this frame alone—on runs of 3, 33, 24, and 2 yards. Max Thimesch connected with Caleb Strong for a 38-yard touchdown strike (and hit him again for the two-point conversion). Hudson Titus joined the scoring parade with an 18-yard touchdown run, giving Pratt a massive 49-0 halftime lead. Third Quarter: Pratt kept the clock running, and Sabastian Beach broke loose on a 46-yard touchdown sprint early in the quarter. Fourth Quarter: Trent Thibault put the final stamp on the 63-0 shutout, punching it in from 2 yards out on fourth-and-goal.
