Winter Solstice Ōtepoti || Dunedin 2025 - Live

To quote Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons “Oh what a night.” After having such a fantastic time playing DiscoBee/DiscoTech back in ANZAC weekend I was super stoked and totally honoured to be asked to play the GAAAATEZOOONE at Winter Solstice Ōtepoti || Dunedin 2025. Apparently in previous years GAAAATEZOOONE was a smallish renegade kind of vibe in a small gazebo but this year they upgraded it to a massive stage roughly the size of a horse float and a much boosted soundsystem and it was sooo much fun. The crowd was amazing, friendly, upbeat and up for a good time and I was super stoked to be able to help them with that. Mad props to Jack, Albany & Robyn, ShowerCap, Vanessa, Matt Hatt, Jimmy, Hanna, Anna, Chris Boyd, Ruby, Miro, everyone who came up to me over the night who said “hi” and all the rest of the party peeps that I may have forgotten. On the Friday night of the April 2025 edition of DiscoTech a.k.a. DiscoBee I had the honour of playing the 9 PM set. The crowd at the festival was super lovely, chill and friendly; and despite not being a home crowd I received many kind words about my tunes.
