    A true diamond in the rough, Gizelle de Guzman hails from the tiny Albertan town of Cremona. Fed on a steady diet of country music and beef jerky, Gizelle fell in love with Miranda Lambert’s storytelling, Carrie Underwood’s glamour and poise, and The Dixie Chicks humour and candour. Although she still likes beef jerky and hometown ho’ downs, Gizelle has been carving out her own style of Country on the East Coast in recent years by collaborating with local artists and touring from Nova Scotia to Ontario.     John Muirhead is a Canadian troubadour, a campfire storyteller, and a big-hearted folk-rocker.     Chattin 88's Episode 36: Ryan Kuly

    My name is Ryan Kuly from here in Red Deer. I’ve actively been part of the music scene here in Red Deer for 12 years or so. I played guitar in a band called “Who Goes to Hollywood” when I was a teenager, we went on to create “Dusty Tucker” after that. We toured all across Canada a handful of times, earning me enough reputation to be picked up as a hired gun for “The Wild!” (Played 32 shows in a 40 day tour in 2017, playing every major market in the United States. Also played a headlining slot at the most recent Tailcreek festival. I was picked up as a hired gun last year by a band called One Bad Son from Saskatoon, was supposed to play JUNO Fest with them right before COVID hit. Currently I run a podcast/recording studio downtown red deer in partnership with Bo’s bar and Stage, I am also the production Manager for Bo’s. I work full time in the music industry in many different areas from live sound and production, to recording, to performing, and everything in between.

    Greg Burkin is a Canada-based music producer, sound engineer and musician. His current musical ventures include live sound and studio recording company GB Music & Sound, as well as the band With Hearts As One. In addition, he teaches sound and music workshops, works as a sound designer and offers Audio, Lighting and Visual sales and installations for churches, studios and music venues.

    Chattin 88's Episode 33: Jason Allen

    Jason Allen is a comic from Hamilton, ON, who travels across North America performing at various comedy clubs along the way. He has worked with such acts as Tom Segura, Kevin Pollak, Jeremy Hotz and the Randy and Mr. Lahey of The Trailer Park Boys. Jason has also performed at The Brantford Comedy Festival, The Edmonton Comedy Festival and Just For Laughs 42.     Chattin 88's Episode 32: Michael Moses

    Michael Moses is a comedian coming out of Niagara Falls, Ontario. He just moved in with his girlfriend, well now they just broke up but they are still living together, making big moves in his personal life as well as his comedy career. He has performed at Massey Hall for New Year's Eve and at the 2019 Halifax Comedy Festival, where his set was taped for the CBC. A frequent traveler to America for comedy festivals participating in 9 different festivals and counting once quarantine is over. This isn't a bio it's a letter to his ex-girlfriend saying thanks for letting him live here and comedy will work out for him.
