    one thing about me (but multiple things)

    i don’t understand the necessity of lying. sometimes the truth might be uncomfortable or you might not tell the truth to spare someone’s feelings but let me tell you now, lying hurts more than whatever truth you’re trying to shield from them

    okay the name is a bit dramatic, but wanted to share some thoughts on love. i don’t believe in settling, you are worthy of so much love.

    my least favorite tropes

    i am a rom com girl! everything about the genre speaks to me personally, but every once in awhile, the trope doesn’t work for me. the conclusion: communicate + try your hardest not to hurt other people’s feelings

    anxiety say what

    life comes at you quick fast and in a hurry. i’m not sure what it is about this season in my life, but i find myself struggling with mad anxiety. it’s definitely getting better, but some days are just harder than others.

    it’s hard out here

    confidence comes from within. no one can give it to you. living in a heavily eurocentric culture can warp what you think you should look like, but don’t be discouraged!! you are beautiful in the body you currently inhabit + you deserve to be confident!

    advice for me and from me

    i often times find myself struggling with what i should say to others when they come to me for advice. i’m not sure if they’re looking for the honest truth or if they simply want me to listen to what they have to say. in addition to struggling to give advice, i struggle with getting good advice that really makes me evaluate the situation. we are human, we are biased, but i think we can start giving more honest thoughtful advice.

    friends, how many of us have them?

    i want to be a better friend. becoming an adult has truly been eye opening to how much love and care friendships take to maintain. i hope to give my friends the best of me + they feel my love wherever they may be.
