Northwest Christian School's annual student-centered, Gospel-reading campaign is called REDLETTERCHALLENGE.ORG. And, we tend to get so excited about all of it -- students, the Gospels, and the art and science of inspiring students to develop a daily devotional discipline -- that things tend to get carried away! That's certainly the case with Fall 2026.  Launched in elementary chapel on Wednesday, August 26th, REDLETTERCHALLENGE.ORG invites students into the daily discipline of time in God's word.  We read one chapter per day, working our way through the four gospels, over the course of three months.  Along the way, as we work to inspire a love of daily time with Jesus, we provide extrinsic reminders of the intrinsic worth that such a commitment can make in their lives! To assist our families with this process, as we move through the Red Letter Challenge, each day for the next several weeks, we're going to publish a podcast episode within the Kingdom Culture Conversations venue, that features Geoff Brown reading that day's gospel chapter. Dr. Israel has done the math and a bolder claim could not be made:  "The foundation of all that I do," says Dr. Nathanael-Israel Israel, "is to use science and math to accurately demonstrate, even to the most rational unbelievers, that the Earth was formed in 2.82 days, while the Moon was formed in 3.32 days, and the Sun in 3.69 days after the beginning of the universe, meaning that I am honored to be the first human being to scientifically prove the Biblical account of creation according to which the formation of the Earth was finished on the 3rd day of creation, while that of the Moon and the Sun was on the 4th day of creation."
