This has truly been one of the most transformative years of my life and I will cherish this knowledge forever. My life is shifting into a different chapter, but I will never forget this one.     In this episode, I sit down with Sam to discuss the power dynamics that come with monetary conversations in relationships.     S2 EP10: 82 first dates, being present, communication styles with Amy Palatnick

    In this episode, I sit down with Amy to have one of the most beautiful conversations on the podcast. I hear tons of growth in myself in this episode as much of the advice I mention, I have recently taken. We discuss open communication and getting to know one's different communication styles. To being present on dates and reflecting after the first date rather than jumping to the conclusion there will be a second, or more importantly, do you want there to be?  Amy discovered the secret to a fulfilled life when Joseph Campbell taught her to Follow My Bliss. So instead of going to medical school, she became a potter. She moved to the Pacific Northwest where she had a thriving pottery career (She's been on a pottery hiatus, but plan to go back to it soon!). Later, she became a Nia instructor, and more recently followed her heart to become a Processwork therapist and Realization Process meditation teacher.     In this episode, I sit down with Pran to have a beautifully vulnerable conversation about the realities of coming out to your family and navigating your sexuality through a culture that is not accepting of you. He opens up about his bisexuality, non-monogamy, and how he explores difficult conversations with dating partners early on to reach an intimate level.  Pran is a writer and psychotherapist in training based out of London.     In this episode, I sit down with Taly to discuss the benefits of an audio-only dating app. Blink Date is one of a kind, and the origin story is a must listen. What happens when we take the visual emphasis away from the dating apps? We judge less and we connect more. We also discuss some fun dating terms: what they mean now vs. what they meant then. Taly Matiteyahu is the cofounder and CEO of Blink Date, a voice-only dating app inspired by a revelatory experience at a blackout restaurant.
