    Could it be? Really? Two episodes in a ROW?? Your eyes and ears do not deceive you friends, we are so excited to welcome you back to another eppy of the FB&W podcast! Rach tells a tale of Josh and his baby-proofing, as well as his offensive, cringe t-shirts that he believes are satire. The girls get into how the past 7 months affected their friendship, and they get into some of Rach's weird friendship trauma. Can anyone else relate?? Jess and Joe balled out in Miami thanks to all you listeners back in June - a huge thank you for that! Rach talks more about her motherhood and obsession with Elsie, and roasts herself for who she was when she was pregnant.     Post... Traumatic Stress - The Catch-Up Episode!

    I hope you guys are ready to buckle in and get down to the nitty gritty of where in the hell Jess and Rach have been for the last 7 months. The girls start off with some light banter, but pretty quickly get into the heaviest meat we've ever served... Jess's telling of what she went through last year, and the journey of grief that she's been navigating since March 2023. This episode is full of potential triggers, so please take care of yourself when listening. Cancer, parent loss, pregnancy loss, abortion, and grief are all discussed in detail. It's been a hell of a year for our friend Jess, and we are just so grateful for this community who we know have been holding her close in our absence.     He McQueens Me - Elsie's Birth Story!

    Rach, Josh, and Elsie are live in their living room to tell the tale of Elsie's birth and the 3 weeks that have followed. Keep your ears out for sweet baby coos throughout the episode, they are quite the treat! Rach starts off with a top TOTD, Josh gives his theory on breastmilk science, and they get into the ins and outs of the black hole they've been in for the past 3 weeks. Josh shocks Rachel with an update on his prepper supplies, and if y'all need some dry beans in the apocalypse you know who to contact. Before we get into the meat, Rach announces that the girls are needing to take a break while both of them navigate the huge life changes ahead of them. We hope to be back sooner rather than later, and we promise to keep you updated. The meat this week is Elsie's birth story! Rach and Josh relive the 28-hour marathon experience of welcoming their daughter into the world. Spoiler: absolutely nothing went to plan. The induction was truly tested Rach's sanity, but it was absolutely all worth it in the end. There was no part of her birth plan that actually happened, so shout out to her doula Christy for keeping the ship afloat.  Toward the end of the episode we get into some questions you submitted about parenthood and the past 3 weeks that have been a total whirlwind. We get into our mental health, bodily functions, how we've navigated parenthood as partners, and much more. Jess and I will miss you guys SO MUCH. Thank you for your continued love and support. All is well, but Elsie has not made her appearance yet, so just ignore all the references in this episode to Rachel having given birth. Okay? We are hoping our girl makes her way into this world within the next few days, so send out allll the positive vibes our way! This episode is Part 2 to her adult friendships/journey into motherhood episode with Rach's best friend Meredith. In this episode Meredith will tell the positive birth stories of both of her children, and the girls get into their thoughts on birth, parenthood, and all the adjustments that come with navigating this new stage of life. The girls have plenty of laughs, semi-solicited advice, and hopes for Rach on this new motherhood journey.     Ghost Grandma - OUR 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

    The gals start off strong with morning fart talks and a run-in with the paranormal. Rach tells the tale of Josh's most recent anxiety meltdown due to a creepy clay figurine she was gifted by her dad. (Shout out PuebloDirect.com) Rach has a couple of close labor calls but alas - Elsie is still firmly planted in her uterus (39 weeks and counting baby).  The Anniversary Meat is the reflection and retellings of some of your favorite moments, funny stories, and advice we've given over the past TWO years. Jess's pee pants, Pickle's obsession with Joe, Rach's pregnancy WAP, blue balls, and so many more funny memories get revisited. Rach and Jess retell a funny Josh story from last week, and get into a little disordered eating talk before we get back to reflecting on the past 2 years. We end the episode out looking back on the beginning of our friendship, and man oh man how far we've come. We hope you enjoy walking down memory lane with us.
