    Thoughts on the Overturning of Roe vs. Wade

    I've had first hand experience working in Family Planning and Abortion. The recent Supreme Court decision to Overturn Roe vs. Wade, will mean that in most states, women will no longer be able to seek safe, legal abortion procedures. This is a devastating blow to women and families, especially those without financial means. I share my concerns about this issue and ask for support and understanding from people on both sides of the political divide.

    Mama and Jedi

    This episode is a conversation between my daughter and me. We refer to her as Jedi in the content, but, in case anyone is wondering, that is not her real name. It is a frank and poignant discussion about past trauma that we have been working on healing for many years. There are references to a church we belonged to at one time. Though much of the difficulty was connected to leaving that organization, I do not hold any animosity about it, nor do I want to disparage it in any way. Many people I know are devoted members, and their lives are enriched by their association with it. My philosophy is live and let live. If something works for you, more power to you. I hope that the content of this conversation can be useful to listeners who resonate with the experience.
