    If the Lord wills, we will do this, or that. S41|E392

    We are finally back y’all!! I felt led to look at James’ words in light of the unfortunate events that have happened to me in over a month, so I wanted to take a break off of Proverbs and look at James words in chapter 4, verses 13 through 17; for 3 reasons. Number 1, to give several testimonies through a long span of time to show great evidence in todays world for the sake of James’ words. Number 2, to clarify based off the way I have tried to discern and interpret James’ words the best way possible. And number 3, to clarify some questions some might have behind why I say this and the importance of it.     Proverbs 10:1-10 revised study. S40|E388

    As we start chapter 10, I share a bit of a long tangent with you guys the correct ‘gladness’ that Solomon and the Apostle Paul approves of “A wise son makes a father glad.” Then Solomon shows us the dangers of gaining riches through wickedness, and how it will not last, but hard work lasts.     No episode this week, give you guys an update about what my life has been like the last couple weeks; don’t worry about me :) the Lord has continued to do a lot of heart work in me, and my schedule the last couple weeks has just been a little bit crazy. I got a face wax yesterday, and it got better later in the day but I didn't want to irritate it at all by taking more lol . Love you guys :)

    Proverbs 9:11-18 revised study! (No episode next week sorry guys; added this late in title) S40|E386

    As we close chapter 9 Solomon turns another rock looking at the cleverness of “woman folly” who teaches others but it not actually leading them to truth, so how do we try and learn the truth about different matters? I try my best to explain that to you guys. I go on another rant again of the cheap discipleship I hear believers say to Christian singles “Just be content” due to what we read here today.     Proverbs 9:6-10 revised study. S40|E385

    In chapter 9 Solomon starts to turn the corner giving us wisdom, to listen to wisdom, leave the company of fools and the simple, and not correct scoffers. Wisdom is displayed in these 4 verses as not just simply copying others good knowledge, but doing so with discernment, and deeper intentionality.
