All of a sudden it doesn’t seem as important to take care of yourself because of all the other things that require your time, money and energy. What you will realize is that no matter how much the world seems to be falling apart, if you do not take care of yourself,  you won’t be in a position to take care of anyone and anything that requires your attention. You will constantly feel depleted, exhausted and eventually you won’t have anything to give and this is why it makes sense and is imperative that you practice self-care daily.

    I want to say that self-doubt is absolutely normal even if you are a super confident person. There will always be someone who you think is prettier, smarter, more fit and seemingly more successful than you. No one is more critical of you than you, especially if you are a perfectionist or someone who aspires to be the best version of yourself. When you compare yourself to someone else it is a slippery and oftentimes dangerous slope. Stop getting in your own way. Don’t let imposter syndrome be your dream killer. Don’t let it stop you from showing up and giving the world what you have to offer. Focus on you girl!

Sometimes we foolishly assume that we can put things off until later when the reality is, tomorrow is promised to no one. Or we feed ourselves the narrative that “we are too busy and there just isn’t enough time to get it all done”. There is never going to be a “perfect” time. If you really want out of that job that is making you miserable or not fulfilling you, then make today your day.

    The Shift from From Barely Surviving to Absolutely Thriving begins with your choice to change your mindset. Life gets hard! Am I right? Sometimes the world around you feels like it’s just crashing down on you and there just seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. The bills keep coming, but the money does not. Maybe things are bad at work, or you’re having issues with your partner and you are just struggling to keep up with all of the responsibilities and obligations. You feel so much pressure on you to deliver and you feel completely alone. Make the choice to focus not fold. Be grateful for your blessings. Believe in yourself so that you can create new possibilities. Eliminate time sucking distractions and remain super focused on handling your business. And finally, when things start to shift as they inevitably will, don’t get comfortable. Push yourself to keep climbing, keep building. Stay positive and you will be looking back on these hard times thinking to yourself….I did that! Because YOU CAN AND YOU WILL go from barely surviving to absolutely thriving.
