    Delivered by the Blood

    In Exodus 12–13, the Passover shows us that judgment comes for everyone, but God provides a substitute. Israel was not rescued because they were better than Egypt. They were rescued because they trusted God and came under the blood of the lamb. The Passover ultimately points to Jesus, the true Lamb of God, who took the judgment sinners deserve. Rescue is not earned. It is received by faith. We are saved by the blood of Jesus, not by our morality, success, or religious performance. Those who have been delivered are called to remember Christ, follow Him, and tell others that salvation is found in Him alone.

    When God Is Near

    How do we know God is with us and rules over all? Today, in Exodus 7-11, we see Pharaoh continually wrestle with Moses and accepting God is Lord overall, even when the plagues fall over Egypt dethroning the Egyptian gods. Through this we see how God makes himself known, by defeating every false idol both ancient and modern, and how we often harden our own hearts against God, just like Pharaoh. Thanks for listening!     When God Disappoints Us

    What do you do when God disappoints you? Every Christian eventually faces a season where God's promises seem delayed, prayers go unanswered, and obedience makes life harder instead of easier. In Exodus 5-6, Moses and Israel wrestle with that very question. But instead of giving an explanation, God reveals Himself.     When You Feel Unqualified

    Have you ever felt unqualified for what God is asking you to do? Whether it's leading your family, sharing your faith, overcoming a sin struggle, or simply taking the next step of obedience, most of us know what it's like to feel inadequate. In Exodus 4, Moses stands before God with excuse after excuse: "What if they don't believe me?" "I'm not a good speaker." "Send someone else." But God never tries to convince Moses that he's qualified. Instead, He points Moses to something far greater: His presence.  This Father's Day message explores why our greatest problem isn't a lack of ability, but a lack of surrender, and how Jesus—the true and better Deliverer—provides everything we need to trust God and obey Him.     Encountering God

    What if God has been pursuing you all along? In Exodus 3, Moses isn't searching for God. He's tending sheep on an ordinary day when God interrupts his life through a burning bush. God reveals Himself as the great "I AM"—the self-sufficient Creator who depends on nothing, yet chooses to come near to people who need everything.     When Plans Fall Apart

    Today, we studied Exodus 2:11–25. We learned what happens when our plans fall apart and how God continues working even when we cannot see it. Through Moses’ failure, wilderness season, and Israel’s groaning, we see that God’s plans do not fail even when ours do. This passage teaches us about trusting God, waiting on His timing, spiritual growth through difficult seasons, and God's faithfulness in suffering. Most importantly, Moses points us to Jesus, the greater Deliverer who came to rescue us from slavery to sin and bring us into a relationship with God. Whether you're struggling with disappointment, waiting on God, questioning His plan, or wondering if He is still at work in your life, this message from Exodus offers hope and encouragement.     Fear Changes You

    Today, we started a new teaching series by studying Exodus 1:1–2:10. We learned how fear can either enslave us or free us. Pharaoh’s fear led to control, oppression, and destruction, while the fear of the Lord produced courage, obedience, and freedom through ordinary people who trusted God. Ultimately, this story points us to Jesus, the greater Deliverer, who came to rescue us from slavery to sin, fear, shame, and death itself. We hope this message encourages and challenges you.     Trusting God with the Outcomes

    In the final week of The Wise Family series, we looked at Proverbs 16:9: “We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.” Parenting carries a deep tension. We are called to take responsibility, make wise plans, shape direction, teach truth, and intentionally point our children toward Jesus. But we are also reminded that we are stewards, not saviors. Wise parents make the plan, but they trust God with the outcome. We can pray, disciple, guide, correct, and model repentance, but only God can change a heart. This sermon is not just for parents. It is for anyone learning to trust God with the future, the people they love, and the outcomes they cannot control. The good news is that Jesus meets us in our fear, regret, shame, and grief. He died for imperfect parents, prodigal children, and every one of us who has tried to build a life apart from God. And because He rose from the dead, our failures are not final. We can walk in faithfulness, release control, and trust the Lord with the steps. Thanks for listening!
