    "Notes to My Younger Self" is a series of feminist podcasts created by young women in Portsmouth aged 17-22 years discussing their experience and understanding of violence against women and girls (VAWG). In this episode young women ask "who inspires you?" and include notes to younger girls about the importance of role models, representation and leadership. Released on International Women's Day 2021, this podcast celebrates all women and offers solidarity in choosing to challenge and call out gender bias, stereotyping and discrimination. This podcast series was created by young women for young women, with funding provided by Esmée Fairbairn Foundation for Project Catalyst, part of Portsmouth Abuse and Rape Counselling Service (PARCS), in partnership with Pompey in the Community's NCS Local Action Group.     "Notes to My Younger Self" is a series of feminist podcasts created by young women in Portsmouth aged 17-22 years discussing their experience of misogyny, mansplaining, sexism, mens entitlement over women and girls bodies and the links between men's violence and patriarchy. This episode includes notes to myself and/or younger girls about how to challenge and includes a call for solidarity amongst women and communities in this challenge, part of IWD2021 "ChooseToChallenge" theme.
