    The Gospel Never Fails - Russ Clarke 18/07/21

    Continuing in Acts 2, and verse 41. Three thousand were added to the Church that day who were those that, "Received the Word gladly." The inference here shows that though many heard the word and received it gladly, there were also many that didn't. Is the Gospel really the 'Power of God unto salvation?' Does the fact that many reject it mean that the Gospel doesn't work anymore? is this the view of mainstream churches causing them to go to extra lengths to attract people to the Church? The Word of God never returns to Him void and will always achieve that for which it was sent. The Gospel Never Fails!!

Are you like Martha, distracted in the doings of the Christian life? or are you like Mary who chose the best part which was to sit at the feet of Jesus and hear His word?
