As Child and Youth Care Professionals in training, we created this safe space for children and youth to sit with adults and talk about their thoughts and feelings on topics that affect them the most. We as adults, have a certain way of thinking and do what we feel is right for the children and youth who we live and work with. On CYC Talk, we will discuss how those thoughts and actions impact these children and youth. It is time to change our mindset to figure out how we can empower our children and youth and build a therapeutic relationship with them through effective communication.
