Sydoney is Heaven-sent. She uses her devastating experience with child loss to bring other grieving moms together, in an effort to minimize feelings of loneliness and to normalize conversations about losing a child. I absolutely cannot recommend this episode enough. Even though my loss is very different, the words and attitude of Dr. Egli completely helped shift my way of thinking and approach. To hear it talk, it’s like listening to someone with one foot in heaven and one foot in the world, the way she shares her perspective, ways of moving through grief, and gives such a beauty and meaning to the whole process.
