    Supporting International Students (and yourself) through a pandemic

    On this weeks episode we have guest;  Dougal Sutherland, Clinical Practice Manager from the School of Psychology at the Victoria University of Wellington. Dougal is a Registered Psychologist in the Clinical Psychologist Scope of Practice with the New Zealand Psychologists Board. Dougal has been practicing as a Clinical Psychologist for over 15 years. He has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and whanau. His areas of clinical expertise include Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). On this episode the podcast, Dougal provides advice on assisting International Students living in Aotearoa during a pandemic, discussing the challenges they face and how we can best support international students through these uncertain times. Dougal also focuses on the support required for practitioners who are tasked to support International Students.
