Ep 7 - Losing my dad (during covid)

I’m back after a 3 month hiatus! I finally feel ready to share my story of losing my dad during covid. I kept a journal during this time to write down everything that was happening and how I was feeling. In this episode, you will hear me read my journal, a letter I wrote to my dad that I read during his celebration of life and the lessons I learned. Grief looks different for everyone and it is an ongoing process. Some days I'm good and other days I can't control my crying. I let myself feel all of the emotions and just ride them out instead of holding it in. I'm grateful to have supportive people in my life to get me through as well as my self care practices to keep me grounded. A little more about Rosie: "I am a native San Franciscan and I have worked in the Nursing Profession for over a decade and continue to deepen my practice. From starting as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Instructor, to a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Board-Certified Integrative Nurse Coach, as well as Certified in Angelic Reiki, my objective is to empower my Clients to feel clear and confident in their lives, by healing and finding peace from past experiences or traumas that have affected the way they currently live their life. In doing this inner work, my Clients continue to personally grow and evolve with a healthy and positive mindset that truly lasts for the long-term. Outside of my coaching practice I love to dance, and am a hip-hop dancer at heart.
