    A new era dawns as we watch a movie about man-eating slugs, and that’s about it. Join us as we talk about our favorite kinds of blood, the merits of modern technology, renaissance paintings, slusbandry, and little slug teeth. No sources for this episode because maybe the real slugs were the friends we made along the way.     4- Return of the Living Dead

    After an extended hiatus, a change of movie, and a new philosophy on podcasting, we are back with 1985's Return of the Living Dead! This is another essay-less episode, but there's some great writing on this movie out there. Content warnings for the movie include: zombism, emetophobia/vomit, comedic animal death, nudity/sexual content, suicide, burning, police violence, bombs/nukes, needles, and themes of mass death, infection, and militarism.

    3- Horror of Dracula

    After a change of movie, in this episode we discuss HORROR OF DRACULA (1958), in what is by far our messiest episode yet!  Content warnings for the discussion of Dracula (1931) are antisemitism, sexual assault, and ableism, especially against mentally ill people. This conversation ends at 11:09. Content warnings for the movie we did watch are violence/blood, child endangerment, burns/burning, sickness, themes of possession/addiction, and themes of sexual assault.  No material referenced this episode!

    2- The Bride of Frankenstein

    Episode 2 is all about Frankenstein's goofier, gayer sibling, The Bride of Frankenstein (1935), also directed by James Whale. Also, we would like to apologize for Dorian's mic issues this week. It should be fixed by next week, but that's what's up with all the static!  Content warnings for the film include violence, fire/burning, drowning, religion/Christianity unrealistic medical trauma. Themes that may be distressing include ableism and homophobia.
