    Don't Trust in your Efforts, Rather Trust Jesus

    The story of the impotent man by the pool of Bethesda in John 5:1-9 is interesting. This man most likely became sick because of his sin, (for Jesus later told him to sin no more so that he will not experience something worse), yet Jesus DID NOT JUDGE OR ACCUSE HIM. Rather what Jesus did was that he saved him. Why? Because God sent not to his Son (Jesus) into the world to JUDGE/CONDEMN the world. (John 3:17) This man has tried many times to be the first to enter the pool of Bethesda by his efforts but it was to no avail. Then Jesus came, spoke his word to him and saved him.     Salvation is only through Jesus

    John 3:17 - For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. The only way you can receive and enjoy salvation is through Jesus. Jesus was sent into the World by God for that specific purpose - to give you salvation. What is salvation? It means TO DELIVER, TO RESCUE, TO SET FREE, TO SET AT LIBERTY, TO PROTECT All your efforts cannot save you, all your jumping up and down cannot save you, and your religious obedience cannot save you. Only trusting in the grace of Christ Jesus poured out on you when Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected on the third will bring salvation to you. So, stop doing and start trusting Let your rest in Jesus' death and destruction for you and you'll enjoy God's salvation to the fullest.

    God Speaks Peace to You

    Psalm 85:8 (NLT) I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying, for he speaks peace to his faithful people. But let them not return to their foolish ways. Hear what the psalmist said - "I listen carefully to what the Lord is saying". He has the confidence to listen to what God is saying because he knew that God speaks peace to his faithful people. Do you have that confidence? My friend, God wants you to have that confidence. He wants you to always come to him and listen to all he says. God always speaks peace to you. He is presently speaking his message of peace to you in and through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ through his death and resurrection has secured peace for you with God and the Father wants you to know that. Have you sinned? Do you feel unworthy of God's presence? Do you think God hates you and because of that you're running from his presence? Know this, God has not rejected you, he loves you and has sent Jesus to be the sacrifice for all your sins. Hear his message of peace to you. Stop running from his presence for he is speaking to you his peace.
