    12. Unusual Habits

It's the last episode of our first season Under The Rug and this week our hosts delve into the weird and wonderful habits us humans have picked up. Where we got them from, no one knows, but Becca and Foz dissect everything from habits formed during lockdown, annoying housemates and eating frozen chips. They also discuss what positive habits they're looking to form over the 12 week break.  Our dutiful hosts will be back in July for another exciting line-up of topics with some even more fascinating guests to drudge up some more stuff from under the rug. We can't wait and in the meantime, we'll be posting lots of clips and content from the series so far on our social channels @rugpod.  Leave us a message at Anchor: https://anchor.fm/undertherug-becca-and-foz Don't forget to subscribe for more weekly content released every Friday, leave a review, especially if you're listening on iTunes, and share with all your mates. 10. Anxiety and Depression

Leave us a message at Anchor: https://anchor.fm/undertherug-becca-and-foz Our hosts tackle something which is starting to be talked about more widely and most will know someone who suffers with depression, anxiety or a both. This week, Becca and Foz focus less on their experiences but more on the inner workings and how they deal with it in their lives, something they've never delved into before. They discuss what depression and anxiety looks like, what the triggers are and how they deal with it, discovering they differ on many things. Join them for an interesting deep dive that is far from depression or anxiety-inducing as they discover more about themselves.  Don't forget to subscribe for more weekly content released every Friday, leave a review, especially if you're listening on iTunes, and share with all your mates. 9. Being a House Husband

Neither employed or looking for work, Foz doesn't know how to answer the question, 'what do you do?' This week, Becca attempts to grill Foz on his attitudes around work, how he's found himself in this position and what his purpose is in life. Is it okay not to work? Does it leave us without an identity? How do you afford a pint at the weekend? All these questions and more are answered in this week's episode of Under The Rug.  Don't forget to subscribe for more weekly content released every Friday, leave a review, especially if you're listening on iTunes, and share with all your mates. 8. Violence Against Women and Girls

In the light of the kidnap and murder of British woman Sarah Everard, Becca discusses a subject very close to her heart but something she's often too afraid to talk about. She shares not only her own personal experiences of the violence she has and still does face as well as giving listeners the bigger picture behind a problem that is everyone's responsibility to solve but is far too often ignored. One not to miss, for men especially.  Don't forget to subscribe for more weekly content released every Friday, leave a review, especially if you're listening on iTunes, and share with all your mates. 7. Death and grief

Join us for our most challenging episode to date. Death and grief is something that will affect every single one of us but is seldom spoken about or explored. Covid has meant that it has become a feature of the majority of people's lives but we're unsure if we're fully equipped to deal with such loss and heartache. We're joined by a very special guest in Emma van Dijkum, whom you may have heard in the background of previous episodes, to discuss the delayed grief of losing her father. We also speak about our inevitable deaths and how we can help those who may be suffering with loss that may or may not involve the passing of a loved one. See below for resources on advice and support.  *** Don't forget to subscribe for more weekly content released every Friday, leave a review, especially if you're listening on iTunes, and share with all your mates. 6. Pornography

To cap off the first half of the opening season before a week's break, Becca and Foz tackle one of their most tricky and awkward subjects so far. Foz watches porn and feels a lot of shame around his habit. Becca has never watched a single second of porn... before today. Listen, as the pair watch porn together and are later joined by a special guest to discuss fantasies, ethical porn and why it should rarely be used for sexual education but can be used in a healthy way to explore your sexuality.  ________________________________________ Don't forget to subscribe for more weekly content released every Friday, leave a review, especially if you're listening on iTunes, and share with all your mates. 5. Money

Is money really a subject we can't talk about? Well, to our hosts at least, money is a deep and emotional subject that extends way beyond your bank balance. It's been swept under the rug by both Becca and Foz and for them, it frames challenging areas of their life, such as status, identity, mental health and relationships. Join them for a wide-ranging discussion and share your thoughts by leaving a message.
