    Episode 129. Hotel Circus Circus and Feral Child Oxana Malaya

    In this week's episode Sandra talks about the famous Circus Circus hotel in Las Vegas. Known as one of the cheapest hotel options this hotel has haunted guests since the 1970's. Full of mysterious stories including the famous room 123 that is so haunted, the hotel won't even rent it out to guests anymore.  Danielle explores the extraordinary and heartbreaking story of Oxana Malaya, a girl discovered in 1991 living in a dog kennel in rural Ukraine. Often sensationalized as the “girl raised by dogs,” Oxana’s story is far more complex than the headlines suggest. After experiencing severe neglect at a young age, she survived for years among the family’s dogs, adapting to her surroundings in remarkable ways. Danielle walks through Oxana’s early life, the shocking discovery that brought her story to international attention, and the difficult process of rehabilitation that followed.     Episode 128. The Legend of the Hodag and Jodi Arias

    In this week's episode Sandra talks about the Hodag. The Hodag is a fearsome creature that resembles a large bull horned carnivore and has been tied to Rhinelander Wisconsin. Listen as Sandra explains how this piece of folklore was also involved in a hoax and how the Hodag has been featured in pop culture like an episode of Scooby Doo and Harry Potter and the Fantastic Beasts.  Danielle takes a deep dive into one of the most infamous and polarizing cases of the 21st century: the murder of Travis Alexander and the trial of Jodi Arias. What began in 2006 as a whirlwind romance between two young, ambitious people quickly evolved into a volatile, on-again, off-again relationship marked by secrecy, jealousy, and emotional intensity. By June 2008, that relationship would end in unimaginable violence inside Travis’s Arizona home. How did this whirlwind romance go from being hot and heavy to toxic and deadly?     Episode 127. The Crimes of Jen Shah and the Hauntings of Southern Vermont College

Then, Sandra talks about Southern Vermont College located in Bennington VT. The college was founded in 1926 as St. Joseph Business School. It wasn't until 1974 when it moved to the Edward Hamlin Everett Estate in Bennington VT. Unfortunately the school closed in 2019 and is now being turned into a resort. Although it is no longer a college campus, the land has many different types of hauntings. These stories include a ghostly lady in white, and mysterious happenings in the library.     Episode 124. The Screaming Tunnel and the Whistleblower Who Took on the Sydney Police
