    cw: disordered eating in an intimate dissection of bernardo bertolucci’s 2003 film “the dreamers”, grain of salt staff writer honey simatupang, analyzes the characters’ french hedonistic lifestyle that seems to have an endless appetite—for everything but food.  the trio in the film display an endless gluttony for all cultural experiences, except for physiological sustenance, exploring within the world where the displayed glamorous behavior and lust for life continues to adhere to notions of white supremacy and an obsession with thinness.
