    Removing connections that no longer serve any purpose in your life

    Episode 21  Am I the only one that gets frustrated with piles of items that don't have a home because they need to be either recycled or good willed?  That's random right for a Podcaster to say. Not really.  You see when things no longer serve us purpose they get in the way and become a hinderance.  When connections such as relationships no longer serve us any positive purpose they do the same. They block the amazing from coming into our lives. They become stale. And in some connections we become quite resentful and our vibe (personal frequency) turns negative which starts to impact our lives in all areas. Because what we radiate out in terms of our vibe we attract more of.  In this episode I'm talking to you about why you need to remove any connections that do not serve you or your purpose (or the goal you are working towards) because excess baggage will only weigh you down.  You wouldn't take clothes you are going to give away to good will (charity) on holiday with you if you needed to pay extra would you? These connections are costing you more than you can imagine.  Start the declutter as soon as you listen to this episode.

    The Law of Detachment...why LoA isnt' the only Universal Law you need to understand for manifesting.

    You've heard of the Laws of Attraction whereby LIKE ATTRACTS LIKE. But have you ever heard of it's bestie the Law of Detachment? No. Well my friend this could be what is blocking you from manifesting your desires into your life.  You see to manifest we must trust the Universe is bringing it in. But if we obsess over the end result our vibe becomes desperate and negative. This pushes your manifestation further out because to manifest anything positive you need to caste a positive vibe out.  In this episode allow me to introduce my friend.....The Laws of Detachment.  Happy Manifesting my Warrior friend.

    How to lose friends and be OKAY with it.

    Episode 24 When we go through transformational work we sometimes forget that the journey is personal and may not resonate with everyone. Not all your friends and family will get what you are doing. Not everyone is ready for growth at the same time as you. And that's fine.  It can become an issue when those that do not understand your journey try to sabotage you by influencing you in a negative way.  When you do not bow down to the influence of others you will find that some will no longer wish to interact with you. And that's fine. If someone cannot get in with your program you don't need them. Harsh but true.  Today I am talking about losing friends and how to move beyond it. Warrior friend are you ready?

    Divorce is NEVER an easy OPTION.

    Episode 23  When I decided to ask for a divorce I felt every emotion possible. I was tackling mental health issues including depression and I knew that I was prolonging the evitable.  The process was not easy; not because the legal steps were hard. It was more about fighting the stigma of divorce within my family.  In this episode I talk about how it went for me. If I can do it heck you can too. Calling time on any relationship is hard. Being brown makes it a bit harder when you add in culture, stigma, honour systems and expectations placed upon us by who we are. Our colour and culture becomes our definition.  It was no easy journey; but the result was I regained my freedom.  Warrior are you ready to take back your empowerment in a relationship that is no longer serving any purpose to you?

    It's okay NOT to be okay.

    Episode: 22 There's so much emphasis placed on being your happy, content glorious perfect self 365 days a year that we forget we're human. We have off days. We neglect our bodies signals that we just need a day to rest and accept that we need to charge ourselves like we charge our phones. You are not Mary Poppins. You are not a robot. You do not need to put a mask on and pretend everything is okay when you are not okay. You need to go easy on you. You need to give yourself permission to just slob out.  Previously I never gave myself permission to have a day off when I was feeling down (or not okay). I'd push myself because I was expected to get on with it. After all I am a woman. I should just do it.  After embarking on my empowerment journey I realised the importance of being able to acknowledge those days when I was not okay. Why? Because I am human. I have the right to turn off, recharge, reflect and say hey today isn't going to be as productive as the rest of my week and that's okay.  Being a superhero is coolio; but being a superhero that knows when to rest is better.

    Let's talk more about SELF LOVAGE

    Self love...we've all heard about it but do we understand it?  Self love isn't you having a soak in the bath whilst children are asleep. It's not eating a meal in peace and quiet. It's not doing the tasks you need to remain healthy and sane.  Its about you....but not as you know it.  In this episode I'm talking more about self love and what is really means to me. Let's get into this...after all this is the season of love.

    Are you sabotaging yourself?

    Episode 20  Self sabotage; the enemy of self development goals everywhere.  Most of us at some point have self sabotaged our own growth in order to remain comfortable in our comfort zone. Rather than accepting that we are embarking on a new adventure and we may fail but we will always learn we start to fail before we even start.  I was far too scared when I decided I needed to put myself out there beyond audio...and I self sabotaged. After all I was a Coach. An empowerment Coach I needed to be out there.  And then one day it dawned on me that my biggest hurdle wasn't what I thought I lacked; it was the unlimited negative thoughts and fears that were swamping by brain that I needed to remove.  I broke the train and thought and I tackled it. And believe me you can too.  Let's do it together.

    Stop your damn people pleasing already.

    Episode 19. IF YOU ARE LIVING TO THE STANDARDS OF OTHERS you will never gain control of your life.  I was a damn people pleaser. I bent over backwards, did cartwheels and put everyone in front of myself and my basic needs. Why? I had a low level of self love which was at the root of my lack of self love.  As I didn't love myself or even realise my true worth I wanted others to love me. To make me feel whole. Complete. Valued. I wanted to validate my existence.  So I allowed others to treat me like a doormat and I had no healthy boundaries.  Then I had my Heart Attack. Suddenly I had to self reflect. I had to treat the disease that was making me abuse myself. And this included people pleasing.  Do you people please? Ask yourself why you do it. What is at the foundation of this self destructive behaviour.  People pleasing is you living my others standards. Not your own. In this episode we're talking all things people pleasing and why you need to STOP; now.

    Stop your damn people pleasing already.
