Indian nationalism is an instance of territorial nationalism, which is inclusive of all of the people of India, despite their diverse ethnic, linguistic and religious backgrounds.

Nationalism in India
Nationalism in India is considered a complex chapter by Class 10 students. This chapter talks about the instances which happened in 1919 when the First World War broke out in Europe, which had far-reaching consequences in the entire world. The war eventually also led to India’s fight for Independence. The Spirit of Nationalism in India due to the emergence of the Satyagraha and the Non-Cooperation movement is an important and complex topic of the chapter. Some topics also describe how Congress sought to develop the national movement, how different social groups participated in the movement, and how nationalism captured the imagination of people.
