Having both a personal connection and an interest in myotonic dystrophy since middle-school, Emily discusses her journey of carrying this passion all the way into her research career both during and post-college. Starting in research as early as high school, Vraj and I discuss a lot of the early struggles and growth he was able to get throughout his several research projects as well as some habits he picked up along the way that made him both a better student and scientist. If you didn't know how to read a research paper, or even where to start, then this episode is for you, as a seasoned reader of academic literature, Vraj goes through his process of interpreting and analyzing papers.
