Tesla has breached a trillion dollars in market capitalization, becoming the fifth U.S. company to join the club. While the undertone of correction continued on Monday, but markets also showed signs of some stability. Tech Mahindra reported a strong set of numbers in the second quarter of FY22, as growth was driven by adoption of 5G, cloud and digital transformation. CEO and MD CP Gurnani said this is one of the best quarters in a decade for Tech Mahindra.

Rising oil prices have dented the performance of India’s top paints company. Input cost inflation hurt Asian Paints’ profits during the quarter to September. Zee Entertainment told the Bombay High Court that its board would follow the advice to consider the demand of Invesco, to convene an extraordinary general meeting. Reliance Industries is likely to report a strong performance for the quarter, helped by a low base a year ago and revival in the oil-to-chemical operations. Nykaa is looking to launch its public issue on October 28, according to news reports.
