The God Who Won't Quit

Ten plagues. Ten times God confronted Egypt. He could have ended it with one. So why ten? Because God wasn't just judging Egypt. He was revealing Himself, one false god at a time, until nothing was left standing but Him. This sermon walks through the plagues as something more than ancient history. The same patterns that played out in Egypt show up in our own lives: the struggle that keeps returning, the door that keeps closing, the question that won't go away. When Obedience Makes Things Worse

Obedience to God doesn't always make life easier, sometimes it makes everything harder. It can leave you wondering where He is in your life. This message walks through Exodus 4:18–6:14, where Israel worships God in real faith only to watch their suffering get worse instead of better. Pharaoh mocks them, the work piles on, and the same people who worshiped turn around and blame Moses. So Moses goes back to God with a raw, honest prayer: why did you send me, and why has none of this worked? God's answer isn't a plan, it's His name, "I am the LORD," and seven promises that hold no matter how you feel in your worst moment. I Am That I Am

Have you kept a mental list of reasons you're not the right person? You might think you’re too old, too unqualified, you have too many past mistakes. Most of us do. In Exodus 3, we meet Moses doing the same thing. He's eighty, living in the desert after a major failure, and convinced he's the wrong guy for the job in front of him. What's surprising is how God responds. He never argues with Moses' list. Instead, every time Moses says "I can't," God answers with who He is. Maybe your inadequacy isn't the thing holding you back. Maybe it's the thing that finally gets you to lean on something bigger than yourself? Whatever you've been telling yourself you're not cut out for, this one's worth a listen.
