Cartoon Collections

My friends and I will investigate popular animated shows and try to discover the root of their success through their pilot episodes. Within our series, we will be analyzing the Netflix adaptations of Carmen Sandiego and She-Ra, and the popular series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir. In our first three episodes, we will discuss their respective pilots and theorize on the reasoning behind the development and production. In our finale, we will be analyzing similarities we discovered throughout the three different pilots and discussing the purpose and effect of these choices.
