A Bridge to the Barbican: a free Time Hunters history walk around the City of London

Professor Horatio Pendulum has done it again. The Chronosphere has overloaded and torn London's history loose across Smithfield and the Barbican. A Victorian flower seller is loitering under Holborn Viaduct, a watchman is guarding St Bartholomew's churchyard against body snatchers, and a Roman centurion has marched to the Barbican expecting a fortress. Become a Time Hunter and help Dan and Bex solve ten riddles, from Holborn Viaduct to St Giles Cripplegate, meeting the Golden Boy of Pye Corner, the traders and drovers of Smithfield Market, the plague pits of Charterhouse Square and Oliver Cromwell on his wedding day along the way. This free family audio walk from Fun Kids pairs with a printable Time Hunter map and handbook for a real 2 to 2.5 hour adventure around the City of London. A Garden to the Guildhall: a free Time Hunters history walk around the City of London

Professor Horatio Pendulum's Chronosphere has overloaded again, and history is leaking into the City of London's hidden gardens. A Franciscan monk is hunting for the roof of his church, a Roman legionary turns up every time somebody says 'Roman wall', and two wooden giants are bickering outside the Guildhall. Become a Time Hunter and help Dan and Bex solve nine riddles, from Christchurch Greyfriars to the Guildhall, meeting Sir Rowland Hill, the everyday heroes of Postman's Park, the Goldsmiths' golden leopards, the ghosts of Cripplegate, Shakespeare's fellow players at St Mary Aldermanbury and Gog and Magog along the way. This free family audio walk from Fun Kids pairs with a printable Time Hunter map and handbook for a real 2 to 2.5 hour adventure around the City of London. The Great Fire Trail: a free Time Hunters history walk around the City of London

Professor Horatio Pendulum has a problem. His time-travelling invention, the Chronosphere, has overloaded and scattered fragments of London's history across the City. Roman soldiers march past Lloyd's of London, a Huguenot refugee sings hymns on Threadneedle Street, and a Victorian nursemaid can't find her way home. Become a Time Hunter and help Dan and Bex solve twelve riddles, from the Monument to Seething Lane Gardens, meeting the ghosts of the Great Fire of 1666, Leadenhall Market's old gander, the Mercers' Maiden and Samuel Pepys along the way. This free family audio walk from Fun Kids pairs with a printable Time Hunter map and handbook for a real 2 to 2.5 hour adventure around the City of London. The Circular Trail: a free Time Hunters history walk around the City of London

Professor Horatio Pendulum has a confession to make. The Chronosphere — his magnificent machine, hidden beneath the Timeporium Clock Shop — was only ever meant to peer safely into history. Instead he's overloaded it, torn a rift in time and scattered fragments of the past across the City of London. Roman soldiers are marching through the streets. There's a smell of burning bread in the air. And history, as the Professor puts it, is leaking. That's where you come in. Join Dan and Bex as they follow the Chronosphere's riddles from landmark to landmark, meeting the lost travellers stranded in the wrong century — and helping every single one of them find the way home. Before you set off: download the Time Hunter handbook for the map, the facts and space to write down everything you find. And pick yourself a suitably ancient alias while you're at it — Caesar Saladus if you're feeling peckish, Octavius Oops if you're a bit clumsy. Dinosaurs were awesome. But no dinosaur ever got everything right. Each episode, Lauren and Cassius pick one dinosaur speciality and dig into it. The fastest legs. The longest neck. The sharpest teeth. They talk to the scientists who actually study this stuff – from the woman who found a dinosaur underneath a car park to the palaeontologist who builds them inside computers – and they make a choice: one real feature, from one real fossil, to add to the perfect dinosaur they're building across the series. By the end, they'll have built a dinosaur that never existed, made entirely out of bits that did. Dino Quest is from Fun Kids, the UK's children's radio station.
