After re-downloading the app and we discuss our experience in finding some matches this time around. We share our thoughts on what seems the same about the app since the last time we swiped, along with some surprising changes. We talk about what we like to see in a potential match's profile vs. what is an immediate no. Obviously, we close out the episode with our latest man of the hour - straight from Tinder!

    "Being alone forms a part of our life that doesn’t make it through our highlights. We don’t see it being shown off on our Instagram posts or Twitter threads. It is not seen as a feature to be proud of, but neither as a mental illness that must be treated. It’s seen as a fact that just is." On today's episode we bring you our latest segment in our "How Did You Know?" series. We chat about the difference between being alone vs. being lonely and how we both have come to appreciate our alone time. We talk about our living situations through the years - going from living with roommates to doing the damn thing all by ourselves. We play a pro and con game on living alone (spoiler alert: there are not many cons!). We close out the episode with our latest Man of the Hour, who really makes us want to live alone forever!

    Black History Is American History

    Black History Month is a month to celebrate the accomplishments and the history of Black people - without forgetting the unjust treatment of Black people throughout history, as well as systemic injustices that continue to persist today. In today's episode we discuss Black History Month - what it means to us, how our understanding has evolved as we have gotten older, and how we commemorate each year. Not only do we share our perspectives, but we were lucky enough to have some of our closest family and friends weigh in too! As Angela Davis said, "we have to talk about liberating minds, as well as liberating society", so join us in this conversation.  Special thanks to Sydney Wills, Sonja Wills, & Sagan Puleo for sharing their thoughts with us throughout this episode!
