    MPP 050: SILENCE with Liz Verbruggen

    Absence of any sound or noise; stillness. the state or fact of being silent; muteness. absence or omission of mention, comment, or expressed concern.Liz Verbruggen was born in 1988. She began studying classical violin at the age of five, which gave me a strong musical foundation early in life. Even though classical training shaped her  technique her deep passion was for pop music. It led to her moving to Los Angeles, where she  studied at the Hollywood Pop Academy and the Musicians Institute. Living in LA opened her eyes to discover her own identity. Alongside her music studies, she earned a bachelor’s degree in art and economics which gave her valuable insight into the creative industry. Her journey has taught how to combine passion, discipline, and knowledge in everything she does. Silence in a busy lifestyle comes when Liz is home drawing and in the company of her pet dog.

Barbara Loots is a Belgian comedian known for blending stand-up, burlesque and cabaret. Under her alter ego Papo Rouge, she plays a self-proclaimed “Rich Housewife from Antwerp,” exploring the space between humor and vulnerability. Her solo show Burn the Bra! pokes fun at perfection and performance pressure — wrapped in humor, glitter and sharp self-awareness. Beyond the stage, Barbara works as a trainer and keynote speaker, giving talks and workshops on humor, presence and body language. Drawing on her background in comedy and improvisation, she combines theatre techniques with real-world communication skills. Her tone on and off stage is sharp, human and unapologetically authentic. Her radiance be it a club or a boardroom invites people to laugh, reflect and feel just a little more alive.

    Yildiz Burger grew up in the Netherlands and was a dancer in the early days of the dance and house music scene in the Amsterdam. Being very independent at a young age she had to learn early how to take care of herself and achieve her goals with a lot of determination and pure gumption. Over the years of her experience in different jobs Yildiz has started focusing on her own company to help women find clarity, rebuild their confidence and create businesses that feel good for the soul. She believes success is grows from alignment and hustle but calm and purpose driven diversity in wellness and health.

    MPP #46 - Oneness with Greet de Raet

    Greet de Raet was born on the 8th March 1962, international women's day, which she’s proud of. She explains how family wasn't rich but we had everything they needed growing up. Her passion for dancing started very early. Movies like Fame, Flashdance and later of course Dirty Dancing gave her a lot of inspiration along with Jane Fonda for her flair and being an activist. Her family was very social and political engaged which helped her make the choice to become a social worker. She loved doing that to support people with there difficulties but also confront them with responsibility. Since a few years on pension Greet still keeps a very active life with dancing, singing and learning piano as her oneness along with her family and dear friends.The fact or state of being unified or whole, though comprised of two or more parts. "the oneness of all suffering people"

    My first guest is Carmelo Balagtas, a very talented visionary artist, specializing in sculpture and focusing on a natural feeling and the movement that he lives in, which inspires his work. We’ll discuss what a visionary positive mindset can achieve and how it can touch the soul. My second guest is Rafaella Jahn who works with her mom Joan Jahn at Seraphim in Antwerp, Belgium, a shop based on the art of living. She will talk about the shop and how she -along with her mom and her siblings- come up with diverse concepts and her ideas for being creative in general. Together, both my two Philippine guests, will enlighten you with their stories about visionary and creative aspects of life.

    My first guest is Wendy Honestly.  Her love for creating made her a dancer, dance teacher, choreographer, actress and singer-songwriter. She worked with lots of other artists, producers and Dj's. A redhead with true self empowerment.  My second guest is Bongo Alan. Coming from New York, USA he eventually went to the Netherlands and then to Antwerp ,where he’s made a name for himself as a percussionist and rhythm innovator in a natural way of living and exercise.  Both guests will be bringing out the positive in how empowerment and rhythm are keys in life.
