    THE MAN AND HIS WIFEEveryone you seen in the society today is the product of a home. Jesus himself was entrusted by God into the hand of a couple.Marriage is the production room of man to God. It was Mary and Joseph who saved Jesus from King Herod.Every parent should understand that the children in your hands are not yours. They are only committed to your hands. It is your responsibility to help them find the wisdom they will need in life. Don't turn your children to your friend when they are supposed to be your student. There are times you need to scold them.Marriage is God’s agenda, he does not take it lightly. Marriage is not a mistake neither is it a curse. He Himself instituted marriage.,WHY THEN IS MARRIAGE THE DOWNFALL OF MANY?1. Not every woman can be your wife, and not every man can be your husband. Many get it wrong when choosing their partner in the covenant called marriage. Proverbs 18:22.Many of us are not patient enough to make the right choice.2. A lot of people miss it when choosing the right partner because they are tribal, choosing someone from their tribe.3. Many also miss it because they make their choice based on physical things.4. They do not Involve God in the process of choosing a partner.5. When they do not know and apply the right principles that sustain a home, there will be a crisis. Marriage runs on the right principles. No matter how anointed you are, if you don’t apply the right principles that sustain marriage, your marriage will break.PRINCIPLES THAT SUSTAINS A HOME1. What makes your partner enjoy your company, find it and build it.2. When both of you do not slack in meeting up with your responsibilities. When you become a burden, it is easy for your marriage to break. When you are a liability, you become more ugly in the presence of your spouse.3. Proper management of quarrels.a. Do not say hurtful words that can mean a lot or are difficult to forget when you are angry.b. Do not talk about your quarrel with someone you know cannot counsel you.c. Set it as a law not to sleep in separate rooms/on separate bed or without praying.d. Pick points for personal change after every quarrel. Don't judge your partner because your partner also has feelings.4. Conclude in your mind and show it to your spouse that you have gotten to your bus stop. Stop thinking somebody is better that your spouse somewhere.5. Always pray for you spouse, don't ever get to a point that you feel that your spouse does not need prayer.     Loyalty - Pt 1

    Organization survives on systems, not luck or chance. Every organization should establish a leadership system. Those who are responsible for events happening in the organization. No organization can truly prosper without clear understanding of leadership order. Loyalty is all about being faithful, truthful and honest to a person, group of people or a course even when it is difficult 8 reasons why we should study loyalty 1. It is your guarantee for the next level of greatness. Until you are found to be faithful in your present assignment, he won’t take you to the next, he promotes based on faithfulness. No matter how you try to pretend, what God looks at is the heart. 2. The devil uses those who are not loyal to cause division from within. Which means loyalty makes it difficult for the devil to use you. 3. Loyalty will secure the life and the peace of the individuals. If Gehazi was loyal, he wouldn't have been afflicted. 4. Loyalty will help the individual to grow. 5. It creates an atmosphere that the power of God can ride upon. 6. There will be effective division of labour when everybody decides to be loyal. 7. Growth will become easy. If you see an organization growing, there are loyal people in the background. 8.     Ministering: Pastor Princewill Afolabi Topic: Misconceptions About Leadership | Understanding Leadership Text: 1 Kings 12:10-16 1. 1 king 12:7 This reading made us understand that today’s leaders believe that leadership is a position that should make them to be worshipped or given preference, they do not know that it is a way of serving. A leader is a servant of the people. It is important you know that you cannot occupy a leadership office if you have not been serving before. Leaders are people’s servant, and when brought to a place of leadership should serve the people. A leader is servant not a lord. Leadership is not a post or position, it is an assignment. Any organization that is not doing well is due to leadership error while organization that is doing well is the leadership success. You don’t have business in leadership if you don’t care for the people you lead. If you are a leader and your people are not successful you have wasted the opportunity given to you to be a leader. Any leader that is not productive has no business in leadership. Service is the only way to productive and rewarding kind of leadership. 2. Matthew 3:13-15; Today’s generation of leaders see leadership as a position that exempts them from following due process. A true leader leads by example. You can’t lead well if you are not leading by example. 2corinthians 10:6 The reason why some leaders are not prospering because they are stingy. If you are a true leader you must be sacrificial towards your vision. A leader should follow the organized structure. Follow the rules because leadership is not to make you proud but for you to serve. 3. Exodus 17:12; Today’s generation of leaders instead of supporting their Moses they prefer to take the glory to their selves. If you are serving in any way, serve your leaders for grace. Whoever is your Moses lift his hand up.
