    Season 2, Episode 1: The One Where We're Back

    The "Turnstiles Podcast" is back. After two years away, it's back. In the first episode of season 2, hosts Matthew Smith and Nick Townsend keep things simple. This episode is divided into three sections. They are as follows: Section 1: Movie Talk We talk about the 1979 film "The Amityville Horror." We talk about some of the editing choices, the characters and what we liked and disliked about the film. Section 2: Here We Go Again For season 2, we are introducing this new segment. In it, we talk about things we want to see get reissued in some form. For Matt, it's the 1977 concert film "Genesis: In Concert." For Nick, it's the SEGA video game "Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg." Section 3: Fireside Chat We end the episode by just having a chat. We talk about HBO Max's title sorting, the HBO Max name, our favorite albums, and the film "Everybody Wants to Be Italian."

Nick talks about the 1957 film "Curse of the Demon." There's even brief talk of Robert Downey Jr's "SNL" career. Section 3: Fireside Chat We end the episode by just having a chat. We talk about some games, our favorite albums, Queen's "The Greatest" series, as well as Queen's live albums.

    In the fourth episode of the podcast, hosts Matthew Smith and Nick Townsend have their first guest ever. Sean Rajnert of Rajnert Media. This episode is divided into three sections. They are as follows: Section 1: Upcoming Videos We share a few details about upcoming videos for the Turnstiles and Some Film Snobs channels. This includes the "Catwoman" episode of "Retsnobs," which was delayed again at the time of recording. There's also the "Army of Darkness" episode of "Retsnobs." The first episode of "Modern Flix" is also talked about. Section 2: Movie Talk We talk about some films. Matt talks about the original "Halloween," Nick talks about the classic 1931 Universal film "Dracula," and Sean talks about "The Curse of Frankenstein." Section 3: Fireside Chat We end the episode by just having a chat. We talk about the remastered 4K Blu-Ray of "Batman V. Superman" with it's aspect ratio changes and the film as well. They are as follows: Section 1: Blu-Ray News/Releases Matt and Nick explore the Blu-Ray.com Top News for the latest in Blu-Ray news, including two Paramount Presents titles, some new 4K releases, and new Warner Archive releases. Section 2: Upcoming Videos Matt and Nick share a few details about upcoming videos for the channel. The main focus of this section is the first Retstiles episode, which is a review of "When Harry Met Sally..." Section 3: Movie Reviews Matt and Nick take a moment to review a couple movies. Matt talks about "Sonic the Hedgehog," while Nick talks about the Roger Corman film "The Undead" Section 4: Fireside Chat Matt and Nick end the episode by just having a chat. They mention Stevie Wonder, Black Sabbath, and Queen (Matt's favorite band).
