🎙️ Episode 13: You’re Trying So Hard. Why Do You Still Feel Stuck?

You’re trying to eat better, move more, and take care of yourself. So why do you still end the week feeling disappointed? In this episode of REBUILD with Cherie Pellum, we look at where your effort is going, what interrupts your follow-through, and how to make room for your goals in the life you actually live. I share examples from my own routines, including early workouts and caring for Piper after surgery, plus a simple exercise to help you identify one adjustment to practice this week. We also explore what personal coaching and accountability can add when another plan isn’t helping you move forward. Want to learn about REBUILD Coaching for women over 50? 🎙️ Episode 12: You Don’t Have to Feel Confident to Begin

What have you been putting off until you feel more confident? Returning to the gym? Wearing something you love? Asking for support? In this episode of REBUILD with Cherie, I share how returning to teaching fitness—including auditioning when I was about 35–40 pounds heavier—reminded me that we can begin while we still feel nervous. We explore the conditions we place on ourselves, why experience doesn’t eliminate nerves, and how my One-Promise Method can help you take one manageable step toward the life you want. The woman you are today deserves care, support, and a chance to begin. 💛 Interested in REBUILD Coaching? Episode 10: When a Door Closes, You Don’t Have to Know What’s Next

What happens when a door closes that you really wanted to stay open? Not something you were ready to walk away from—but something you hoped for, prayed about, worked toward, and prepared for…and the answer is still no. Sometimes the hardest part isn’t losing the thing itself. It’s losing the version of the future you had attached to it. In this episode of REBUILD, Cherie talks about navigating disappointment, identity shifts, faith, and the uncertainty that comes when life doesn’t go according to plan. You’ll hear why one closed door is information—not a verdict on the rest of your life, why you don’t need to immediately figure out what everything means, and why starting a new chapter doesn’t mean starting from zero. You’re bringing every lesson, every scar, every skill, and every bit of wisdom from the chapters that came before. And when you can’t see the whole road ahead? You don’t need the blueprint for the rest of your life. You just need enough courage for the next decision. One promise. One choice. One day at a time. It’s never too late to REBUILD. 🎙️ EPISODE 9: “You Don’t Have to Hit Rock Bottom to Rebuild.”

You don’t have to wait until your life falls apart to decide something needs to change. Sometimes nothing is technically “wrong.” You’re working. You’re handling your responsibilities. You’re taking care of everyone. From the outside, you may look completely fine. But inside, you know something doesn’t fit anymore. In Episode 9 of REBUILD with Cherie, we’re talking about the kind of rebuilding that happens before the breaking point. Maybe it’s your health.
Maybe it’s burnout.
Maybe it’s your career.
Maybe it’s your relationship with alcohol.
Maybe it’s your confidence.
Maybe you’ve spent so many years taking care of everyone else that you’re wondering where YOU went. I’ve rebuilt more than once in my own life — through recovery, health, career changes and seasons I never expected. And one of the biggest things I’ve learned is this: You don’t have to hate your life to know you want a different one. In this episode, I’ll give you one question I want you to sit with: If nothing changed over the next year, what would you be most disappointed was still the same? You don’t have to rebuild everything today. One decision.
One promise.
One step. It’s never too late to rebuild. ❤️

🎙️ EPISODE 8: “Stop Building Plans for a Life You Don’t Actually Live”

What if the reason you keep struggling with consistency isn’t because you lack discipline—but because the plan you created was never designed for your real life? In this episode of REBUILD, we’re talking about the unrealistic plans we make for the imaginary version of ourselves who has unlimited time, energy, and apparently no laundry. 😂 You’ll learn why a good plan needs to account for busy days, unexpected interruptions, and imperfect weeks—and why having a floor can keep one hard day from turning into an abandoned week. Most importantly, we’ll come back to one simple question: What’s ONE promise you can keep even when life gets messy? You don’t need to build a perfect week.
You need to build a week you can actually live. ❤️ It’s never too late to rebuild.

🎙️ REBUILD — Episode 7 The Conversation You’ve Been Avoiding Might Be the One You Need to Have

The Conversation You’ve Been Avoiding Might Be the One You Need to Have Some conversations are uncomfortable because they matter. In this episode of REBUILD, Cherie shares a deeply personal Sunday-morning moment with a past podcast episode from her late mentor, Jessie Lee, and the reminder that courageous conversations are part of growth, leadership, and rebuilding. We talk about why we avoid hard conversations, how to listen without abandoning your boundaries, why protecting your peace doesn’t always mean staying silent, and the difficult conversations we sometimes need to have with ourselves. Because rebuilding isn’t only about nutrition, workouts, weight loss, or habits. Sometimes rebuilding starts with honesty. One promise. One choice. One day at a time.
It’s never too late to rebuild. ❤️

🎙️ REBUILD with Cherie — Episode 6 :You Don’t Need More Motivation. You Need a System

What happens when motivation disappears? If your answer has always been “I guess I’ll start again Monday,” this episode is for you. In Episode 6 of REBUILD with Cherie, we’re talking about why motivation isn’t enough to create lasting change—and what to build instead. You’ll learn why most of us don’t actually have a starting problem, how to create a personal “floor” that keeps hard days from becoming zero, why systems matter more than willpower, and how the One-Promise Method can help you stay consistent even when life gets messy. You’ll also hear why tools can support your transformation—but can never replace the foundation underneath it. In this episode: • Why motivation will always come and go
• Why a setback doesn’t require another Day One
• How to build your “floor,” not just your ceiling
• Why 20% is still better than zero
• The difference between a system and a tool
• How to choose one promise you can actually keep
• Why rebuilding isn’t about perfection—it’s about knowing how to come back One question to take with you this week: What’s ONE promise you’re willing to keep—even when you don’t feel motivated? If you’re ready to rebuild but aren’t sure what that looks like for you, reach out and say REBUILD to learn about a complimentary 15-minute REBUILD Call. You’re not too old. You’re not too far gone. And you haven’t missed your chance. It’s never too late to rebuild. 💛
