    Disappear and Boss Up!

Are you ready to take your life and goals to the next level? It's time to disappear and boss up! In today’s podcast episode I talk about ways to block out the noise and focus on yourself and your goals. Here's a short guide to achieving your goals and taking charge of your life: Identify Your Goals: Take some time to really think about what you want to achieve in life and how you plan to get there. Write down your goals and create a plan for how you will achieve them. Take the time to break your goals down into smaller, achievable steps. Set a Schedule: Create a consistent daily routine that allows you to focus on your goals and give yourself the time and energy to make progress. Plan ahead and create a schedule that will help you stay organized and on track. Get Moving: Take action towards your goals. This could be as simple as setting aside a few minutes each day to work on a project or brainstorm ideas. Don't be afraid to take risks and be creative. Take Breaks: Make sure to take breaks and give yourself time to recharge. This will help you stay focused and motivated. Take the time to relax, pursue hobbies, or do something you enjoy. Celebrate Successes: Don't forget to celebrate your successes, no matter how small. This will help you stay motivated and remind you of why you're working so hard. Acknowledging your achievements can be a great source of motivation. So what are you waiting for? Disappear and boss up today and start taking steps towards achieving your goals. With a little bit of effort and dedication, you will be surprised how far it will take you.

    Enough is Enough

Write your daily to-do’s without time assignments  One of the most frustrated feelings for me was setting a time to do a specific task and because of life, work or kids I would sometimes push the task to another day.  I am not against time-blocking completely, but for now writing a task without a specific time is definitely working for me.    Trust your idea/plan  Spoiler alert: the perfect moment doesn’t exist. Waiting for the “right time” is one of the biggest reasons people fail to make progress. I truly believe that whatever God has put on your heart to do, we must do it.  Whether it’s launching a business, starting a new habit, or tackling that project you’ve been avoiding, there will always be something that feels like a roadblock.  We may not know how to get from A-Z with our idea, but if you seek him honestly and openly.  He will guide you every step of the way.  Hold Yourself Accountable and Do it scared It’s easy to let yourself off the hook when no one is watching. But if you’re serious about getting things done, accountability is essential. Set deadlines, track your progress, and check in regularly with someone who can keep you honest—whether it’s a mentor, a friend, or even yourself.  I follow a women by the name of @sharib on Instagram and she post such positive, empowering and inspirational messages daily.  I know their are alot of pages that focuses solely on motivating us, but her posts really resonate with me and it has forced me to look at myself in the mirror and realize I am the only one stopping me from growing and getting ahead in life.

Look Good, Feel Good, Be Good

In today's society, we are constantly bombarded with messages about what we should look like and how we should feel. We're told that we need to be thin, beautiful, and successful in order to be happy. But what if we shifted our focus away from these pressures and instead focused on what makes us feel good from the inside out? Here are some tips for looking good, feeling good, and being good: Look Good Looking good doesn't have to mean conforming to unrealistic beauty standards. Instead, focus on taking care of yourself in a way that makes you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin. This might mean finding a hairstyle that you love, wearing clothes that make you feel good. Feel Good Feeling good is all about taking care of your mental and emotional health. This might mean practicing self-care activities like meditation, yoga, or journaling. It could also mean seeking out a counselor if you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues. Be Good Being good is about living your life in a way that aligns with your values and beliefs. This might mean practicing kindness and empathy towards others, or standing up for causes that you believe in. By living a life that is true to yourself and your values, you'll find a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment. Remember, looking good, feeling good, and being good is all about finding what works for you. Don't be afraid to experiment and try new things until you find what makes you feel the best.

    Ten Toes Down

As the late rapper Nipsey Hussle would say “I’m ten toes down, I won’t ask for no favors”. In today’s episode, I talk about how being committed to your dreams can pay off for you. Regardless of what others are saying or how people will make you feel when you share your idea or dream with them, you remain ten toes down. Staying ten toes down is not an easy thing to do. Many thoughts come in your mind when you sit back and really think about how much courage and fight it is going to take in order to see your dreams come true. During the episode, I give an example of one of our PURE Girls. She is currently a sophomore in college and when she graduated high school in 2020 her plan was to attend an HBCU. Her dream was move away and start her college life outside of NJ, but when she didn’t get accepted into her dream college her feelings were crushed. The idea of attending an HBCU was stuck in her head and she wasn’t giving up on the idea. She decided to attend a local college with plans to transfer to an HBCU in two years. Although her family was encouraging her to continue her studies in NJ, she remained ten toes down on her goal. To be honest, her family loved the idea of her being close to home and was a bit nervous about her going away to college. But my girl stayed ten toes down, during the past two years at college she flourished in all of her classes along with being inducted into the Honor Society. Now that she is preparing to graduate with her Associates in a few weeks, she decided to apply to her dream college again. Only this time she got in!!! She will be attending her dream college this coming Fall and will major in Nursing. To say I am proud doesn’t truly describe my thoughts. I teach my girls during our time together to never allow someone else’s fear to fall upon them. If God has given you a dream or an idea, then shoot your shot sis. He doesn’t put more on you than you can handle and if your dream or idea is delayed that doesn’t mean He is not going to give it to you. He just needs for you to wait a little while longer. Of course, I want you to listen and consider what your family is advising you to do, because they truly have your best interest at heart. Staying ten toes down doesn’t mean that you become defiant and irresponsible. It means the complete opposite. It means making smart decisions, being true to your dreams, and remaining confident throughout the process. I hope you guys enjoy the episode. The app was actually completed last January and I sat on this for an entire year. I let fear, doubts and comparison rob me of something that I knew God blessed with me. I knew God was answering my prayer when I won a contest to have our mobile app designed for free. But once again, I allowed comparison to keep me from releasing it to the world. But today, I stand bold and excited about the future of the mobile app. The mobile app includes access to: weekly blog posts podcast episodes YouTube channel and playlist Community group chat and much more!!! 6. It's not them...It's You

    It's not them...It's You

Hey guys! In today’s podcast, I talk about how to stop blaming others for what you don’t have in life. Many of us blame our community, parents, school, and friends for not giving us the things we desire. But it’s important for you to start taking ownership for what you lack. If you want to own a lot of sneakers, but your parents only buy you a pair on your birthday, holiday and back to school. Then it’s now on you to figure out a way to make some HONEST money in order to be able to buy more sneakers. If you are tired of not having any money, because you spent all of your birthday money, then it is you that needs to come with a plan on how to earn some money. It’s very easy to blame others for what. you don’t have, but now is the time for you to have a talk with yourself and begin to change your mindset on a few things. You have to understand your dreams and desires are yours and yours only. So if you want a great life for yourself, great job, nice apartments with good vibes only. Then you have to be the one to push yourself daily. No one is going to help you. Your parents and friends MAY guide you a little bit, but no one is going to show you the full blueprint. You might think your parents are being mean if they don’t grab you by the hand and show you every move to make, but because they won’t this will honestly make you a better person. It will increase your knowledge in knowing how to solve problems, researching your answers and forcing you to become a hard worker. Some may say, I am lazy, I don’t have the drive or motivation in me. But sis you do, you aren’t born with hard work and drive. There are words and affirmations that you have to say to yourself daily to keep you moving. I hope you enjoy the episode and just to state facts I am truly rooting for you. It’s in you to be whatever you want to be. Don’t be afraid of the work, be afraid of not doing anything. P.S. I did something a little different with the podcast this time. 7. Pick it Back Up

    04/15/2021

    Pick it Back Up

Hey sis! How many times have you started something and after a few weeks or month, you stopped? I am first to admit that I have been that person and I honestly hated how it made me feel. I often compared myself to others journey and wish that we were at the same place within my business, my non-profit or in life. But I want to encourage you today to pick your idea, business or goal back up. Picking yourself back after you stopped working on your ideas is a hard thing, but it is not impossible. God has placed that idea and/or gift/talent inside of you for a specific reason. He trust you with that particular idea, because He knows that you can handle it. In today’s episode, I talk about listening to your heart and removing the negative thoughts from you mind, when thinking about picking the idea back up. It’s important that you listen to your heart and not your mind. God speaks directly to our hearts and gives us confirmation. I am sure you are asking yourself, well where do i start? You start slow and work your way up to full speed. For example, if you were an amazing track runner, but you haven’t ran for over a year. Just start with stretching and doing daily walks. Once your body is feeling loose, you may decide to start jogging then eventually you will be back to running miles and doing your sprints. Another example, if you had a small business, but you stopped during the pandemic, because you couldn’t figure out how to transition and make your sales from home. Well start off with creating a free website and gradually begin to add your products onto the site. My recommendation would be to not wait until every product is added. Just start with one and promote that. Then next week add the new product. Make it fun, like have your customers thinking “Oh wow she is dropping new products every week!”. Just START! I hope you find today’s episode helpful. It felt good speaking and recording a positive message. Be sure to follow us on IG, SHARE AND SUBSCRIBE to our podcast and be on the look out for our MOBILE APP!. Have an amazing week and I will talk to you the in the next episode.
