    This week Britt and Sam sit down with Lynn and talk about her plus size boutique Boujee Katt.  We all know as plus size woman it can be difficult to find affordable on trend clothing. We talk to Lynn about her about her experience starting a boutique in the mist of a pandemic. How she approaches plus size women to shop with her, what her must have piece of clothing is and soooo much more.

    On this weeks episode Britt and Sam talk about the fear of getting too small.  After loosing weight naturally or though WLS something you will hear is don't get too small. Or I want the surgery but I don't want to get too skinny. We talk about the fear and how feel about that statement in general.

    On this weeks episode Britt and Sam talk to a childhood friend turned entrepreneur Lynn. Lynn was recently married and lost a ton of weight naturally for her big day. We talk to Lynn about the pressures of losing weight for her big day, finding her dream dress as a plus size bride and finding flattering dresses for an all plus size bridal party. Also the aftermath of loosing weight for a wedding, now that the wedding’s over what comes next?

    Can I get a window seat...don't want nobody next to me

    This week Britt and Sam talk about the best practices for traveling while plus size. We love to travel and sometimes it can be intimidating to ask for a seatbelt extender or sit in the middle seat. This week we talk about  ways to make flying enjoyable and comfortable.  Once you get to your destination the hotel robe won’t fit or the towel won’t close. No problem We got you covered! This weeks we're talking all things travel.

    On this weeks episode Britt and Sam talk about the idea of perfection and how that can affect you mental health. If your loosing weight though surgery or naturally. Your "goal" weight or size can change and that is ok. We talk about comparing yourself to other and setting realistic goals while you go though this process.

    Sex, Drugs and Alcohol after WLS

    On this weeks episode Britt and Sam talk about sex, drugs and alcohol after weight loss surgery.  Sex...How long did we wait? Was there any pain? Have we tried any new positions? Drugs...this is a big one for the WLS community. Addiction is something that a lot of people deal with postop. We talk about what drugs we've done and if there is any difference in how they effect us after WLS. Alcohol...how liquor effects you after WLS? How much we can tolerate post surgery compared to pre surgery?   This was a fun episode to record but remember transfer of addiction is very common in the weight loss community. Please listen with care.
