    On Love | Emotion Vs Feeling

    “We must love ourselves and our partners in a way that feels free.” My best thoughts and ideas always seem to come about in two (2) places: one being the shower, and the other while driving. I am all too aware that neither of these settings are necessarily intended for recording, but driving seems like the better choice of the two. 😂 Have you ever found yourself questioning or wondering why or how you have ended up in a scenario you otherwise solemnly swear you’d never be in? Or maybe sitting alone and frustrated, feeling like the whole “love” thing just “isn’t for you”. Do you give and give but are unsure how to ask for what is appropriate to take? I ask this morning, or whatever time it is for you, that you listen with Intention! I was thinking a lot about feelings coming from the heart versus the emotion that comes from the brain. What we feel is considered our “intuition”. At times our thoughts and neural pathways lead us to places in our mind or body that bring about intense emotions—in turn masking our true feelings and “tricking” us into making otherwise “out of character” choices. These thoughts often come from places of survival and feel a lot like feeling. I like to sit down and breathe deeply until my breath leads me to the place in my body where my true intuition is speaking from. I thank the parts of me that scream for the easiest way out. I thank the parts of me that desperately want me to drown myself in substance. I thank them because they are aware of the harsh realities of the world. By respecting and loving these different “darker” areas of self, in time, they have become more trusting of my intuition and no longer make immediate choices based on survival. Change starts from within; so that we may bind together and create an unyielding force of acceptance and love! 💗

    The U.S.A & George Washington’s Farewell Address: We are Consumed!

    Today I had some thoughts I felt too compelled to share... In George Washington’s 1796 Farewell Address he warns of the energy behind separate parties. He warns of the error of man—himself included. He states with confidence the inevitable fate of trial and error...the facts of nature, God, liberty, and true justice. The system has worked. The system has served. But even back in the beginning of time...our founding father’s saw this coming. They warned us and provided us with the tools. They instilled these rights and duties upon us...to keep the true law of life and love alive. It is my opinion that we are noticing this as a collective...it is heart breaking to some to feel as though they must let go of years of work and a specific type of foundation...it is hard to imagine and accept that our system is no longer serving us in the way it has always intended to. If you have not read this I suggest it. This and many documents similar to it are available, ready, and not only wanting but needing to be read by our current population. The #TimeForChange is now. Just as our founding fathers did. We must come together. Discuss. When my peers speak loudly and confidently in their beliefs & endeavors it almost always provides me with a piece to my own puzzle. I thank you all for your courage. With that being said I desperately crave this type of conversation. This deliberate attempt and intention focused on a true and genuine greater good. An equality unlike any other—though difficult to achieve we know this is not impossible. This video is shorter than most and I’m horrible at verbally recalling information but—yeah. I’m tired of the hypocrisy. I’m tired of the rich having no visible attempts of understanding or compassion for the poor. Im tired of children being mistreated because of our own inability to conquer our fears and rise above. I’m tired of people DYING for NOTHING. Mostly I’m tired of us sweeping things under the rug and ignoring our founding fathers, ignoring our history because it’s just too hard to bare. We see what’s happening. We stay quiet. We speak when others speak. We go quiet again. Why? When do we start speaking openly, consistently, and freely? When do we detach our emotions from our idealogies so that we may speak from the soul and not from the hurt? I don’t know much of anything, other than I am unyieldingly passionate about what’s happening. This change is inevitable and we can either ignore it or be on the front-line, guiding it!
