Ep 210 - Jesse Legree Is On Fire, Braden Atkinson Deals, Chad Johnson Returns To Oregon State Football, Give Me My Money

Jesse Legree keeps turning ordinary catches into unreasonable touchdowns. Braden Atkinson keeps giving him the ball. Benny would like the sportsbook to skip the game and give him his money now. JP, Terry, and Benny are back together after Oregon State’s 56-26 win at Colorado State, and the question has officially moved beyond whether this team is any good. How good could it get? They break down Atkinson’s command of the offense, Legree’s ridiculous catch-and-run touchdowns, and a ground game finally joining the party with AJ Newberry, Cornell Hatcher, and Aaron Butler. Chad Johnson reconnects with Oregon State, the boys debate whether the Beavs or Boise State are the class of the Pac-12, and San Diego State gets the “My Lovely Aztec Mumps” treatment. Is this a trap game, or is JaMarcus Shephard about to make three preseason loss predictions look very stupid? JP and Terry go 42-14. Benny goes 52-17. Everybody bails. Then Benny asks the question that takes over the rest of the episode: if Oregon State keeps winning, can the Beavs actually get into the College Football Playoff? What follows is a spirited argument about Boise State, the Group of Six, television money, and whether the people running this sport would give Oregon State a fair shot. Plus: NIL, keeping Atkinson and Legree, and the exhausting habit of worrying about next year while this year is giving us everything we wanted. Enjoy the damn football. Give me my money. Go Beavs. Chop em. #GoBeavs #OregonStateFootball #JesseLegree #BradenAtkinson #JaMarcusShephard #ChadJohnson #Ochocinco #Pac12 #SanDiegoState

Ep 209 - About DAM Time Takes Over, Braden And My Body, The Defense Is Back, Colorado State Awaits

Braden Atkinson has entered the nervous system. Please remain calm. Apparently we can do that now. Oregon State football beat UTEP 33-7, and Terry is joined by About DAM Time's Ashtyn Butuso and Tim Barnes to figure out how JaMarcus Shephard's Beavs got this far ahead of their expectations. Braden Atkinson's pocket presence, Jesse Legree's ridiculous emergence, and Mike MacIntyre's defense have them buying in before Colorado State, and arguing over how much running game this passing attack actually needs. JP and Benny are away, so the guests take over, Terry survives, and a football conversation turns into a full-body assessment of the starting quarterback. There's a closed-bar watch party, a swag-surfing investigation, actual defensive insight from Tim's Oregon State coaching days, and a firm request to stop grieving hypothetical transfers while these dudes are still wearing orange and black. 🎙️ About DAM Time takes over - with significantly less yelling at Terry.🧠 Braden Atkinson, pocket peace, and the birth of “Braden and my body.”🦫 Jesse Legree is ours right now. Let us enjoy the damn football.🛑 MacIntyre's defense: fewer explosives, better tackling, and pressure from everywhere.🏈 AJ Newberry's big UTEP day and the debate over a pass-first offense.🔮 Colorado State picks, an abstention, and pets with game-day responsibilities. Hope is back. Nobody move the cat. #OregonStateFootball #GoBeavs #BradenAtkinson #JesseLegree #JaMarcusShephard #Pac12 #ColoradoStateFootball #GoBeavs

Ep 207 - Set The Bar Higher, The Problem Kid, Texas Tech Slips Away, Montana Comes To Reser

Oregon State is 0-2, but this does not feel like the same program that spent the last two years searching for answers. The Beavs went toe-to-toe with No. 13 Texas Tech, took a fourth-quarter lead and piled up 472 yards before letting a very winnable game slip away, 35-24. Braden Atkinson threw for 413 yards, Jesse Legree went absolutely nuclear for 240 and two touchdowns, and Oregon State showed it can legitimately move the ball against one of the most expensive rosters in college football. The guys break down what went right, what went wrong and why the fourth-quarter offense suddenly felt like it was playing not to lose. They get into the questionable officiating, Oregon State’s massive improvement from Houston to Texas Tech, a surprisingly strong performance in the trenches and the increasingly obvious reality that Atkinson and Legree have become the identity of this offense. Then there’s the bigger question: what does Oregon State expect to be now? Dylan Layne wasn’t interested in applause for almost beating Texas Tech. JaMarcus Shephard has spent two weeks insisting the standard is higher than that. After years of Beaver fans learning to appreciate a good showing against a better team, maybe the program itself is finally done with that mentality. Up next is undefeated Montana, and Oregon State suddenly has a different kind of problem: how much should the Beavs force a running game that still hasn’t arrived when the passing attack is working this well? Plus: Benny turns 40, JP embraces Daddy Ball, the boys attempt to resurrect Sharper Image and SkyMall, and somehow Delta Airlines ends up with a completely free business idea. #GoBeavs #OregonState #OregonStateFootball #BradenAtkinson #JesseLegree #JaMarcusShephard #Montana #Pac12 #CollegeFootball

Ep 206 - Braden Atkinson Arrives, Jesse Legree's Breakout Debut, Beavs Cover, Texas Tech Awaits

Oregon State lost 33-20 at No. 23 Houston, and nobody is hanging a banner for it. But Braden Atkinson threw for 376 yards in his Beaver debut, Jesse Legree exploded for 136, and JaMarcus Shephard's staff did something refreshing when the running game vanished: it adjusted. The boys break down Atkinson's poise, arm talent and command; an offensive line that remains a legitimate problem; the creativity Oregon State never consistently found under the previous staff; Eric Olsen and the tight ends; a defense that swarmed, forced two timely takeaways and still gave up 533 yards; and all the missed tackles that kept turning almost-good plays into Houston explosives. Then it is on to No. 12 Texas Tech. Will Hammond and J'Koby Williams lead a talented team that still settled for four field goals against Abilene Christian. Can the Beavs create red-zone stops, steal field position on special teams and keep Atkinson upright long enough to make Reser believe? We revisit the preseason predictions, bet or bail on our original scores, and somehow end up debating Brendan Sorsby, Anthony Hankerson, transfer limits, employee status and whether college football can ever put itself back together. No moral victories. Plenty of reasons to keep watching. #GoBeavs #OregonState #OregonStateBeavers #BeaverFootball #Pac12Football #BradenAtkinson #JesseLegree #JaMarcusShephard #TexasTech #TexasTechFootball #CFB2026
