Opening the Door is a podcast series that uses storytelling to help graduate students, trainees, and mentors better understand the impact of bias and discrimination in the training environment and how to mitigate it. Hosted by Dr. Krista Longtin, assistant dean for faculty affairs and professional development at the Indiana University School of Medicine and associate professor of communication studies at IUPUI, each episode features an interview with a guest who shares their experiences navigating difference, bias, and the mentor-mentee relationship.
