Sant Attar Singh Ji, the most widely known and respected Sant in modern times, was born at Cheema, a village in the erstwhile Jind State (now in Sangrur district of Punjab, India) on 28 March 1866. His advocacy of education for the girl-child, and blending education with spirituality show his sense of foresightedness. Towards that end, he first set up a school for girls in 1906.

14.07 Kora Paani Mitha Ho Gya | Jeevan Katha | Audio Book | Sant Attar Singh Ji In this inspiring episode of Sant Attar Singh Ji Jeevan Katha (Audio Book), we witness a remarkable moment of divine grace, where bitter water is transformed into sweetness through the blessing of Sant Attar Singh Ji Maharaj. Outside the home of Bhai Wazir Singh Ji, there was an unlined well whose water was known to be bitter. Sant Ji repeatedly advised them to construct a proper well, but the couple hesitated due to the poor quality of the water. One day, Sant Ji took a handful of water and gently poured it back into the well, declaring with certainty, “Build the well — the water is sweet.” Trusting his divine words (Sat Bachan), the couple began the construction. Within a few yards of digging, clear and sweet water emerged. The well was then completed, and to this day, it stands as a living testimony to Sant Ji’s spiritual power and blessings. 🎙️ This episode beautifully reflects faith in the Guru’s word, divine miracles, and the transformation that comes through grace. © Copyright - The Kalgidhar Trust - Baru Sahib Produced by - Department of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Studies, Akal University, Talwandi Sabo, Punjab Book Reference: Gurmukh Pyare - Sant Attar Singh Ji, Mastuana Sahib Wale Written By - Sant Teja Singh ji, M.A., L.L.B.
