    Palm Beach State Attorney Says Rep Matt Gaetz is in A Whole Lot of Trouble and There Are No Good Outcomes-Guest Dave Aronberg

    In this episode, I’m talking to Palm Beach's  State Attorney  Dave Aronberg who says "Matt's in a whole lot of trouble. Child sex trafficking is punishable by up to life in prison," says Palm Beach Co. state attorney Dave Aronberg of the accusations facing GOP lawmaker Matt Gaetz. "Even if they can't make a case of child sex trafficking, if you've proven to have sex with an underage girl, that's a felony in Florida, punishable by up to 15 years in state prison." Dave Aronberg for what many are now calling in Florida, “The Pedophile Coast” because of Jeffrey Epstein and accused  Congressman Matt Gaetz, and Donald Trump, among many others. As the State Attorney for Palm Beach County, Florida he has first-hand information about Congressman Matt Gaetz's alleged sex trafficking of underage girls and the sexual abuse criminal case.  "Matt's in a whole lot of trouble. Child sex trafficking is punishable by up to life in prison," says Palm Beach Co. state attorney Dave Aronberg of the accusations facing GOP lawmaker Matt Gaetz. "Even if they can't make a case of child sex trafficking, if you're proven to have sex with an underage girl, that's a felony in Florida, punishable by up to 15 years in state prison." Dave says,  “The most serious crime in Florida is child sex trafficking, punishable by up to life in prison." There’s a 10-year mandatory minimum. The more information that comes out, the fewer defenses Matt seems to have left.  “For Gaetz, the problem is, it’s not just child sex trafficking,” Aronberg said. “If they can’t prove that and can only prove he had sex with an underage girl, well, that would be a violation of the state law against having sex with a minor. And that is a 15-year maximum sentence. And you have to register as a sex offender. Even if it’s solicitation of a sex act, that’s also a felony, plus registration as a sex offender. There are no good outcomes here, I think, for Matt Gaetz in the future.” Dave Aronberg is a frequent guest on MSNBC and CNN. He's also the State's top Palm Beach Prosecutor where Jeffrey Epstein was convicted of sex trafficking underage girls, soliciting prostitution before Dave Aronberg took office. But Dave is acutely aware of the devastation that Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators committed against underage girls.  Before that, Dave served as a state Senator for Florida for 8 years. Dave is a tremendous leader in so many ways and is recognized as a formidable enemy to child sexual abusers, sex traffickers, rapists, and all predators, pedophiles, and perpetrators of sex crimes against women and children.  Dave understands sexual trauma, resilience, and the healing process victims and survivors must endure, in order to overcome sexual victimizations. He shows compassion for rape victims, rape survivors, child sexual abuse traumatized victims and survivors, and believes in women supporting women, women empowering women. The law can bring justice to survivors, says Dave Aronberg.

    Love and Murder in Suburbia: A True Story

    In this episode I’m talking with Allison Bressler, MA, and Gloria Sgrizzi,  Love and Murder in Suburbia.  A True Story.  About “Big Little Lies” when it comes to intimate partner violence that occurs literally everywhere.  We are talking about domestic violence, dating violence, intimate partner violence, beatings, murder, and more hidden behind closed doors, a Big Little Lies, a dirty, little secret. Things that go on behind closed doors. One family’s tragedy underscores the peril of concealing abuse by an intimate partner. During the early morning hours of September 9, 2002, Peter Clancy arrived at his house in upscale Cortlandt Manor, N.Y., armed with a large kitchen knife. He tried the garage, which did not respond to his opener, and then the front door, but the lock had been changed. So, he picked up a chair from the deck and hurled it through a kitchen window. Debora Riggs Clancy, his wife and the mother of their four children was stabbed to death in front of two of her four children by her husband, Peter. She had recently filed a protective order against her husband Peter. We are ROARING TODAY with two Sheroes Allison Bressler, MSA, and Gloria Sgrizzi who say, "Domestic violence knows no socioeconomic boundaries. It can happen in the wealthiest families and the most financially stressed,"  One in four women in the U.S. are victims of domestic violence according to Bressler and Sgrizzi.  "Statistically there are nine significant incidents before a call to the police," That's why Bressler and Sgrizzi have made it their life's mission to ending intimate partner violence as co-founders and co-directors of their private nonprofit,  A Partnership for Change: They want to empower and teach the vulnerable before they are victimized, by educating the young, the less young, the poor, the incarcerated, the wealthy.  We will learn about their incredible programs, education, and insight that lead to the empowerment of anyone, any age, seeking control of their own relationship so they can be safe.     The Long Journey of Justice. Meet the man, Thien Ho who successfully prosecuted The Golden State Killer/East Side Rapists, Joseph DeAngelo and is now running for top DA in Sacramento, California

    In this episode, I’m talking with Thien  Ho, who successfully prosecuted serial killer and rapist, Joseph DeAngelo, known as The Golden State Killer/East Side Rapist. DeAngelo had escaped justice for 30 years leaving in his wake, dead, murdered, and raped girls, women, children, and men. He is now running for top DA, Sacramento, California. Find out how the victims of The Golden State Killer/Eastside Rapists got justice! And how others, didn’t get justice because of the running of the statute of limitations.  Thien had a long path to justice. At just 4 years old he and his family escaped the Communists in Vietnam, on a rickety fishing boat, risking death, torture, and capture finally landing in a refugee camp with nothing but the clothes on their back.  As a lead prosecutor for Sacramento County, Mr. Ho successfully prosecuted the East Area Rapist/Golden State Killer and secured a sentence of 12 life terms that ensure the disgraced former police officer will die inside a California prison.,  DeAngelo is one of the nation’s most prolific and notorious serial killers who committed 13 murders and over 50 sexual assaults in 11 different jurisdictions throughout California.   This case has been the focus of HBO’s docuseries, I’ll be Gone in the Dark The case has also been featured on CNN, 20/20, and countless news outlets across the world. Additionally, Thien Ho has supervised the Gangs and Hate Crime Unit and was a panelist for an Asian hate crime discussion sponsored by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA).   As a member of the Legislative Committee for the California District Attorneys Association, Mr. Ho has analyzed pending bills and advocated on legislative matters for California.  He has drafted legislation to prosecute and get justice for victims of Sexually Violent Predators and has testified before the California Assembly regarding pending bills. Now, the 47-year-old Democrat and lifelong prosecutor has announced he is running to succeed Sacramento District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert, who is a candidate for State Attorney General (filling Kamala Harris’ seat before Harris ran for the US Senate in California).  Thien Ho is all about truth, and justice.     People in Epstein's Orbit Using the "I Didn't Know" Strategy Attorney, survivor advocate, and legal analyst Shari Karney joins Bill Cunningham Sunday Live (heard by more than 1.3 million listeners) to examine the testimony of people connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, before the House Oversight Committee. Karney analyzes what she calls the recurring "I didn't know" defense—a strategy repeatedly used by powerful individuals who claim they were unaware of Epstein's sex trafficking operation despite their relationships with him. Following his testimony before Congress, Bill Gates described his meetings with Epstein as a "grave error in judgment" while denying any knowledge of Epstein's criminal conduct. As Karney explains: "A grave error of misjudgment is lending money to your deadbeat roommate—not child sexual abuse, not sex trafficking, and not the heinous crimes that have been described here. One of the things that is just frankly not believable is that 'I didn't see anything. I didn't know.'"     Sacramento DA Anne Marie Schubert LGBTQ Top Spot Attorney General, 2022 (the job formerly held by VP Kamala Harris)

    In today’s episode, I’m talking with Sacramento District Attorney, Anne Marie Schubert, the first openly lesbian woman running for Attorney General of California. The job was formerly held by Vice President, Kamala Harris.  Her platform: Justice for Victims She describes herself as a ‘tough-on-crime candidate’ who, in recent years, has helped put the Golden State Killer behind bars, and has been a leading force in the pursuit of justice through DNA evidence and cold-case prosecution.  In 2002, she formed the Cold Case Prosecution Unit and served as its first prosecutor. While Anne Marie Schubert may be best known for the successful investigation, arrest, and conviction of the Golden State Killer, she has made a career of protecting kids from sexual predators and human trafficking and making sure violent criminals are held accountable for their crimes.   As District Attorney of Sacramento, Anne Marie Schubert has successfully put some of the state’s most notorious and violent criminals behind bars, including murderers, rapists and child molesters. She has aggressively prosecuted major corporations for practices that harm the environment and has worked to get illegal firearms off the streets. If elected, Schubert, 57, would be the first openly gay state attorney general. She is the co-parent of two teenage boys who she loves dearly.     Senator Victoria Steele Reveals on the Floor of the Arizona State Senate, that Her Very First Memory In Life Was Being Raped By My Grandfather

    In this episode, I’m talking with Senator Steele who reveals the first time she made a dramatic stand for survivors of sexual abuse. She bravely shared her own story of incest and child sexual abuse on the Arizona State Senate Floor.  Steele recounts the attacks, “My very first memory in life was being raped by my grandfather. She goes on to say that “I don’t have very many memories from my childhood,” those that I do have are not good. You don’t want to know them.”  She fought for justice for survivors of child sexual abuse when she introduced a bill to extend the statute of limitations for victims to bring a civil case against their abuser in Arizona. Current state law barred survivors from civil action after they turned 20 years old. According to Steele, “Republican leaders, so far, have blocked the bill.” Senator Steele supports survivors of child sexual abuse and the elimination of the statute of limitations for all child sexual abuse survivors nationwide.  Senator Steele is one of a growing number of survivors and women who are fighting for justice for survivors of sexual violence in State Capitols nationwide. These legislators of courage are working on behalf of women and survivors who have been beaten, raped, and even murdered by their abusers and predators. We salute Senator Steele.
