Billy Ray Valentine runs the circus. He’s a white guy who named himself after the Eddie Murphy character in 48 Hours. He tries to talk like Woody Harrelson’s character Billy Hoyle from White Men Can’t Jump. This guy is a phony and an embarrassment, and he gives off a desperate, hip-hop, Talcum X vibe. The show is much better when he’s not speaking. He also suffers from terminal TDS. He’s an angry little leftist who has hated Trump since 2016, and it’s impacted his mental health. It is worth Trump being back in office to make BRV short circuit.
Any episode with Don Jeffries is painful. Between his potato microphone, his squeaky chair and his 1995 AOL internet connection which breaks up all the time, he’s difficult to listen to. I never make it through an entire episode because I can’t take it. His throat clearing episodes are an extra bonus.
Hey Don, invest a few dollars in some equipment. If you want to be on a podcast, maybe work on your internet connection.
Why Tony Arterburn wastes his time with these clowns, I don’t know.
Just pass on this one. It used to be worth an occasional listen, but no longer.
