    Things That Shape Our Subconscious

    There are many things in our life that shape our subconscious mind and I bet you do not even realize them until you actually identify them when they happen!!! These are the things that have been ingrained in us from the time we were born. Your elementary years into middle school and high school!!! All the events through this time truly shape our filter that we see and define life through!!!  When you have a negative subconscious self image  when ever you get a complement you may say thank you but in your mind your saying "Yeah Right!!!" That is your subconscious bringing to your mind the programmed message that filters your conscious thoughts!!! When you hang onto and talk about negativity you only program your mind to only believe bad things can happen!!! We literally talk our self into bad juju!!! I know crazy right!!! This episode talks about my story a little and the things in my life that took some pot shots at my self confidence!!! I had to go through a lot of work and self development and still have to to get to where I am now!!! Now I can say I am confident, A good friend, A trust worthy person, an all around amazing hard working guy!!! Because I have done the work to program my subconscious mind to believe that!!!     B.H.A.G. Your Big Hairy Audacious Goals!!!

    We cover goals and the reason why most people do not ever set or achieve them!!! FEAR!!! Remember that fear is a warning system of clear and present danger!!! Feeling a little uncomfortable is not clear and present danger!!! Feeling uncomfortable about what might happen, what people might say or what people might do is ANXIETY not FEAR!!! The good thing is that you can overcome ANXIETY because there is no danger!!!  We start out as children and we can be or achieve anything and everything!!! We can even become superman or be in the NFL!!! There is nothing standing in our way!!! But as we grow up people start saying well you need a real job!!! That goal in not realistic do you know how many people do not make it to the NFL and becoming a super hero HAHAH Yeah right!!! You better get a 40 hour a week JOB to fall back on!!!  As we hear these messages our subconscious mind is programmed to believe all these negative thoughts and that is what becomes the filter for our conscious mind!!! Every time someone tells us that we look great our subconscious mind stops that thought and filters through all the negative things people have said or even what we say to ourselves!!! When we try to set crazy big goals our subconscious mind filters that thought and reminds you of all the times you have said " I am so stupid" OR " I will never achieve anything"!!! Time to reprogram that subconscious to agree with your conscious mind!!! That is what we cover here in this Episode!!!     Gratitude & Daily Affirmations

    Welcome to Xceler8 Life - We strive to live our best life and achieve our dreams. To do that we must be on a continued path of self development. Starting a Podcast was not the path I dreamed of but it is now the vehicle by which I can pursue my purpose. I grew up in Church from the age of 5. When I was about 11 we had 2 evangelist stay at the house with us and staying with them set me on the path of self development and ministry. Now that is not to say that I have stayed on that path my whole life for sure. I fell and got up many times and I believe that is what qualifies me to pay it forward to others. Remember that God does not fire us from our purpose we quit on it daily!!!  So after years of messing up my life and fixing my messes it qualifies me to warn you of mistakes I made as well as help you to get out of the messes you create!!! I have been there and done that!!! Remember that your future depends on your next step not your last!!! There are things you can do in the next 90 days that can make your life worse!!! And ...... There are things that you can do in the next 90 days to make your life better!!!
