0139 - Why Red Pill Content Is Keeping Men Single After Divorce

This is definitely one you might want to check out on the YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@joinironfather to see the rides and the scenery. If you're terrified of getting back into the dating game after divorce simply because you've spent years consuming red pill horror stories about how bad women are, you aren't ready, and you're letting online noise run your life.In this video, recorded live during a scenic car cruise to some mountain roads, I break down why so many men over 50 are paralyzed by fear before they've even stepped foot outside. I discuss why the guys who do the most complaining online are usually the ones who don't actually talk to women in the real world, how to tune out the echo chamber, and why knowing who you are allows you to date on your own terms.Rebuilding your life after 50? 0136 - Is Bitterness Your Second Divorce Payment?

The Hall of Fame told him not you, and he still got on that stage. What are you doing with your verdict? YouTube version: https://youtu.be/QafgbAMzXA8Twenty years after his death, Buck O'Neil's life still has something to say to divorced men over 50. In this video I use his story, from the Kansas City Monarchs to the Negro Leagues history he spent decades carrying forward and his book I Was Right on Time, to talk about the two ledgers every divorced man keeps: what got taken and what you got. I talk about the bitterness tax, the second payment that costs you sleep, health, and peace, about the too late lie after 50, and about showing up warm at your child's graduation when your ex is in the room. If you're starting over after divorce, rebuilding at 50, or still carrying a verdict from a courtroom, start here. Pick your column, then pick one thing to put down this week. There is no price too high for peace.Photo credit: By kc congdon from rochester, ny - buck o'neil, CC BY 2.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=22488359🔔 Subscribe so you don't miss what's coming next.Website: https://theironfather.com/👊 Join The Garage (Patreon) for the after-hours: https://www.patreon.com/c/ironfather/membership➡️ Work with me / Iron Father coaching: https://calendly.com/joinironfatherIron Father Substack: https://ironfather.substack.com/➡️ Join the community: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61580017888065

0135 - Men May Guard Their Truck, But Not Their Time

You lock your truck, your house, and your banking app. So why do you hand your afternoons to people you barely know?Divorce after 50 takes your money, but the part that never comes back is the time. In this video I break down Seneca's essay On the Shortness of Life and what it says to divorced men, men over 50, and any man who keeps saying yes when he means no. I talk about the time leak in dating after divorce, the long phone calls, the favors, and the "later" lie that says you'll finally rest at 60. Seneca asked who promised you 60. I'm a grandfather with five kids, and I don't play around with my time anymore. If you want to stop wasting time after divorce, rebuild your life, and guard your hours like you guard your property, start here. Audit your hours tonight, pick one gate, and close it this week. There is no price too high for peace.🔔 Subscribe so you don't miss what's coming next. 0134 - I'd Rather Go To Jail Than Vietnam

My uncle went to college for one reason most people never say out loud, it kept him out of Vietnam. This is a piece of a longer conversation with my uncle, one of the only Black men I knew growing up who chose college over the plant or the military, and it shaped how a lot of us in the family thought about what was possible. We talk about the choices his generation faced coming up in Detroit, what it cost and what it earned, and how our family built traditions, family dinners, birthday calls, a multicultural household, that we're still running decades later. Toward the end, we get into what "equally yoked" really means when your family's as mixed as ours is, and I push back a little on my own uncle about what that word leaves out. This isn't rebuild-after-divorce content. It's where a lot of the man I became started. There is no price too high for peace.Website: Theironfather.com YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@joinironfather🔔 Subscribe so you don't miss what's coming next. 📖 Free PDF, Verdict: Overturned, start looking at how you got here, download it free: https://ironfather.gumroad.com/l/dmtvfn🔔 Subscribe so you don't miss what's coming next.Website: https://theironfather.com/👊 Join The Garage (Patreon) for the after-hours: https://www.patreon.com/c/ironfather/membership➡️ Work with me / Iron Father coaching: https://calendly.com/joinironfatherIron Father Substack: https://ironfather.substack.com/➡️ Join the community: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61580017888065

0133 - A Man Died To Feel Bigger

A man just died trying to feel like enough. While it may have been the surgery, was his ego the catalyst?Igho "Tiny" Ubiribo had the money, the followers, the lifestyle, and he still got the needle trying to add some girth in the pants, and it cost him his life. Derrick, Eddie, and I get into why men, especially those this channel is aimed for, coming out of a marriage, and chase this kind of validation in the first place. But the real reason we're doing this episode is what comes second. My father beat prostate cancer, and what he taught me and my brother after that fight changed how I think about men's silence around their own health. If you're over 50, if you're divorced, if you're scared to ask your doctor a question because it feels like admitting weakness, this one's for you. Some men are risking their lives to feel bigger. Other men are risking their lives by refusing to get checked. Same root problem, two different funerals. There is no price too high for peace.🔔 Subscribe so you don't miss what's coming next.📖 Free PDF, Verdict: Overturned, start looking at how you got here, download it free: https://ironfather.gumroad.com/l/dmtvfn 🔔 Subscribe so you don't miss what's coming next.👊 Join The Garage (Patreon) for the after-hours: https://www.patreon.com/c/ironfather/membership➡️ Work with me / Iron Father coaching: https://calendly.com/joinironfatherIron Father Substack: https://ironfather.substack.com/➡️ Join the community: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61580017888065

    0132 - Married To A Fantasy

You can see the video of my hiking in Sedona and the beautiful scenery here: https://www.youtube.com/@joinironfather You spend fifty-plus years being somebody's husband, somebody's father, and then one day the title's gone and you're standing there wondering who's actually under it. I walked the trails outside Sedona with that question and worked through Harry Browne's "identity trap," the thing that keeps a man tied to a version of his wife, his marriage, his whole life, that was never actually real. This isn't about blaming her. It's about the fantasy you built in your head and refused to let go of, even after it stopped working for you. Every man still holding onto who he thought she was, or who he thought he'd be by now, is carrying weight he doesn't have to carry. In this one I get into:- Why you can't let go of the identity you built your whole life around- The old saying that explains why so many marriages end in the exact same disappointment- Why understanding a woman's actual nature, not the fantasy version, is the first step to freedom- What it really means to figure out who you are before you walk into the next relationshipI'm not talking to you from the finish line. I'm working through my own "who am I now" right along with you on this path, one hike at a time.If this hit something, check out Verdict Overturned, free at: https://ironfather.gumroad.com/l/dmtvfn🔔 Subscribe so you don't miss what's coming next.👊 Join The Garage (Patreon) for the after-hours: https://www.patreon.com/c/ironfather/membership➡️ Work with me / Iron Father coaching: https://calendly.com/joinironfatherIron Father Substack: https://ironfather.substack.com/➡️ Join the community: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=6158001788806
