UPDATE 11/2025: I took a long break from these guys and came back recently to check in. The show seems to have improved! Brining up a 1 star review to 5. The flow and banter seems to be better overall. They are talking about relevant topics/games and not just 100% indie stuff that was made by their buddies. I feel like they found their footing. On a personal note, I appreciate the guys standing against the pure unfiltered evil that is Israel even if we don’t agree politically on the issues at home. Whether you’re left or right, Israel has a stranglehold on our government and politics through powerful, very wealthy lobbyist groups like AIPAC, and not to mention the blackmail and behind closed doors bribes/gifts. I’m a conservative leaning straight man, and I will never see eye to eye about issues like gender and immigration with them, but I appreciate they aren’t Israel support fake people. Anyone with a heart can see the genocide that is occurring in Gaza, and that same genocidal entity is also corrupting the United States of America. Israel is robbing us of our tax dollars to fund their forever wars.

Alex just said he hates this country. I honestly can’t bear his liberal BS anymore, it’s too bad cause Brad and Vinny are cool but Alex just can’t keep politics out of it. Unsub

I’ve listened to these guys for decades and I finally admitted to myself that I don’t like this show. This particular dynamic, specifically Vinny and Brad, have become annoyingly fussy old men. 4/5ths of the show is old men complaining about minute, minor things that annoy them. And not in an “angry gamer” kind of way. More in a weird, annoying, nice old man with minor dementia kind of way. Their tastes gravitate toward tedious games, and then they complain about minutia they find annoying in specifically tedious games. “I want to make sure I pick up all the bird seed. There might be an achievement or something. But even if there’s not I want to make sure I pick up all the bird seed. I just have to, you know?. But I wish there was a button where I could just press the button and it sucks up all the bird seed. I feel like I want the game to respect my time and make it easy for me to suck up the birdseed. And also I wish the game would acknowledge that I picked up all the birdseed. Just like a message saying “good job” or something, you know?” Like… ugh.

I believe it’s Vinny that annunciates his C’s K’s Q’s very hard where it sounds like he is either spitting or has a lot of saliva in his mouth… I love you man. I rated your podcast a five star review could you kindly please stop hitting those plosive sounds sooooo hard? I went out of my way to look up my irritation with these Plosive sounds. And I might have Misophonia. But I can’t be the only person in the world that has Misophonia tendencies?? I really believe in my day-to-day living people don’t annunciate there C’s K’s or Q’s! But I what do I know lol I’m from Minnesota lol
