    We have a special guest who is also one half of the music duo Hot Lives, based out of Nashville, Mikala.  We talk about what it was like growing up as a black, queer woman in Tennessee and the ways in which its okay to not fit in any of the boxes that people can place us in.  The song that we share with you at the beginning is called Living Things from the self-titled album Hot Lives.     we did it first Gen Z..Jk.. My parents would say otherwise but in this episode we welcome my new friend Mel aka Melmur to Shary Ave. Mel, by far, shared with me the most photos and was really open to sharing the uncomfortable photos as well. The times where she tried to fit in for a short period. Shary Ave is the place to bring it all. Three great friends, self-identified stems, musicians and life long church kids gather together. They hype each other up and share some very queer kid photos.
